We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.

Spoon - 20 books on Grenn Met! Can you rise to the challenge!? (Yes, I will do anything to avoid the tedium of ebay!)
Mind you, there's a few that, if they sell, I will fall off my chair in surprise!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

You must relist if it doesn't go this time! (Though how could it possibly not!)
Great thing about listing books on Green Met is that you put in the ISBN and it does the rest, almost. You only get £3 per book, but I doubt I'd get more for mine anyway tbh. And it's better than a kick in the teeth.

Hi all
Went to see ex OH yesterday (to take the christmas pressie that my parents bought him which I collected from them in March), it was fab because I told him about my battery being held in with an old belt as the clamp no longer fitted due to the rods being too short (battery is taller than the old one), so he took me to homebase to get some threaded rod and then to this massive asda to look at crates so I got one with wheels at one end which is quite spacious and it has a clip on lid - it cost me £10 and was cheaper than the ones I saw in Homebase and it was bigger too. He ended up getting 4 of them for himself. Then it was back to the house to start on making new rods by firstly bending the metal which was first done after heating it over the gas hob in the kitchen. I also have instructions to get myself some 10ml spanners and when I decide that I am not driving for a while told me to disconnect my battery and told me what to do.
Hope y'all are ok (except for trolls..if you're a troll you can b*gga off)0 -
Good evening all, handyman here, hope you are all well. Well done Horace looks like we have a mechanic in the making.
Just finished watching Erasing David on more 4. About a journalist that tries to evade private detectives (it about the data held on each and every one of us) If I wasnt paraniod before I am even more now. It took them 18 days to find him despite his best efforts. I will watch out what I do on the internet and over the mobile from now on.
I Had a great Idea, lets everyone on MSE change our name by deep poll to D. N. Abunk. with a 100k of us on the loose it would give the DCA's a terrific headache, by the time they worked out who was who we would all be SB'd (ok niddy I know it doesnt work like that):) Just handy rambling again.
Still one Monday morning 6am When I was going up in a lift 20 floors with 10 hung over Geordie builders. One had an attack of Gas!. I said which !!!!er droped that, to which each in turn declared I'm Farticus.
Well off for an early (er) night, after I've looked in on funny money.
Best wishes all, handyman123.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

Hi 3Dogs, found it a bit dry in places but didnt realise that ISP's and mobile phone companys hold records on calls you made and from where, and every web page you visit, for 12 months. This guy sent out 80 SAR's The biggest file the size of yellow pages was from amazon, and had a list of everyone he had ever sent a present to. They caught him at an antenatal clinic with his wife after the investigator rand the hospital gave his wifes D.O.B. and said he had lost appointments paperwork.
The chap who posted the otherday wanting to know how DCA's find people, and who said he had left a trail of red herrings should have watched this. Funnily enough I dont think he's been back.
Anyhow hope you and yours are well, I,m off for a rest, see you all tommorow, best wishes handyman123.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,
