If the other parts are worthless, Numoty, what the hell was the point in doing them? Sounds like typical bureaucratic red tape nonsense designed to keep people in work doing none-jobs like running courses that end up being useless in the real world - all very nice being able to do a Powerpoint presentation but not much use if you were stranded on a desert island! Where are the courses providing real usable skills for real jobs? Like the apprenticeships people had years ago? (Think I'd better get off my soapbox, I can feel a Grumpy Old Woman rant coming on....)
Nargle, you sound just like me...... I'm going to join you on the soapbox. The whole !!!!!!!!ed system is a joke - only it's not funny to people who are stuck in it:mad::mad::mad::mad:. And apparently the jobless figures reduced yesterday, oh yes, and I can see a pink elephant flying outside my window:mad::mad::mad:.
Sorry all, I'll shut up now
    :T:T:T:T:T:T
    Amen to that sister:D

In other news I got my gas bill today:eek:
    I now alledgely owe £532.22
according to their bill, I've used £381.99 worth of gas in 3 months, in a 1 bedroom flat, that has had heating on for an average of 2 hours a day:cool:
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I cocked up with the original meter reading :o
and they should have got the info, from previous supplier, but they haven't yet;)
There is a "dispute" logged on the account so I shouldn't have got this bill:rotfl:
Numpty :eek::eek::eek::eek:. I hope you get that sorted asap, keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.

They normally don't bother me - if I can see what they're up to and they're not scurrrying about all ovet the place. Hiding in my mug is not allowed though!
It was alive. The mug is still upside down in the sink until I decide it's future :D. Had to deafen spider out of mug by turning mug upside down and hitting it off side of sink. Spider is now down the drain.

Nicca - put something over the top of the mug and take spider and mug outside - put mug down sideways so spider can walk out - spider will be much happier outside where it can find flies to eat and you'll be much happier inside with no spider. That's my solution to spiders, give them something to climb into (they like dark spaces) and take them outside - much more humane than flushing them down the drain - he'll only come back again and give you a fright. Just make sure you put something over the top while you're transporting him outside:)

I am now salivating! And can't make a decison between them!!! Poll?

Thank you Nargle! I hope you are online for advice once I make a decison and try to bake a cheesecake ;)

Cheescake sounds great - white chocolate and ginger with the kiwi fruit topping gets my vote :):):)

PS: MSE didn't appear to like b0llock$ed, oops...

Spiders bread in drains and plug holes , put bleach down the plughole and over flow, and plug the over flow, then after a few minutes poor soom boiling water down , followed by some more bleach,, and put the plug back in:D

The mug if it was mine would still be waing to land
    put the plu back in
Numpty - I thought you were nice until I read that:D

Numpty, I don't think Spoon will be happy with your advice :D. Though it has just occurred to me that a few of my friends might refuse to come over on Saturday now they know the pesky little beggar has been on the loose!
No, nicca, I am certainly not happy with that advice, poor little spider, what has it done to hurt you:D Spiders are great, they eat all the pesky flies that spread diseases (can't say I'm fond of the poisonous ones and I certainly wouldn't be happy living in Australia with the monsters they have over there) but the innocent little house spiders won't hurt anyone apart from flies, so they get my vote:D.
Moths however:eek::eek::eek::eek: are definitely the devil's work :eek::eek::eek:

I don't mind spiders, it's just the speed they can move at that freaks me sometimes!

And Spon, I'm completely with you on the moths being the devils work! Anything that flaps is likely to send me into a bit of a tizzy! You want to see me trying to negotiate the pigeons in the city centre! And I have been known to leave lights on (or off) strategically to get anything flappy out of the room I want to be in at that point in time :D.

I am totally with you on flappy insects, nicca, I leave lights on to attract moths as well (very un-MSE:o:o:o). Only insects though, birds and bats don't bother me at all...

Good morning to everyone, it's a beautiful sunny Friday morning here and all's well with the world (well, so far, until some upsets me of course!!).

Good luck with school today, Numpty. Hope everyone else has a good day (especially any spiders in Numpty's and Nicca's homes:))

    Morning all

did someone mention moths:eek: I hate them especially the large bob owlers that you get at night:eek:

I shall keep my lurgy to myself - I have laryngitis and cannot speak today, had to resort to using online supermarket shopping to order in some food and it is being delivered tomorrow (tatco couldnt do it until next week). I generally feel carp and have developed a good smokers cough and I have never smoked.

Off to go and lie in the front room watching the telly.

Spoon, I've only just got around to sticking a wash on so if the sun goes away in the next half hour or so, it'll be my fault! Sorry!

Off to look for a recipe for Nargle's cheescake suggestion! Mmmm!
