 Hi Tixy, emily and Horace
Tixy - hope you're enjoying your day off work
    emily - hope you're well
Horace - hope you've stopped itching and your throat is getting better. I think the JL programme is repeated during the week, but can't remember when, it'll be on iplayer though..

I'm not really here, btw, have loads of work to do today, so if you think you see me, I'm not here :o:o

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Quite traumatised... was just about to pour myself a cuppa when there was a spider the size of the bottom of my mug in there! Now having to uber-clean everthing in the kitchen! However did it get to be in a mug!!!!!

Said mug will now probably be demoted to general cleaning mug (i.e. weighing out washing poweder and the like!)

    Breath, breath, breath...

Spiders are ok until they jump and then they become scary:eek:

I still have an icky throat but have now got a cough and feeling a little gippy in the tummy which means a few dashes to the loo:eek: I am now on the cough mixture. Still need a scratching post for my back tho..sigh.

I have done my good deed for the day and arranged for some cheap parking in Birmingham city centre for someone in a secure carpark.

That poor spider was probably more frightened of you than you were of it, nicca. They come inside to get warm during the winter, poor little thing thought it had found a nice warm home until you moved the mug and nearly gave it third-degree burns.

As you might have gathered, spiders don't bother me in the least - moths though:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Numpty - how was school today?

School not to good , to be honest I think I bolloxed the test up:o

Meant to do a newsletter type thing and then answer some questions within 1 hour
Part 1 the newsletter should have taken 45 mins
it took 57mins, and didn't do all the things needed:o
The questions should have taken 15 mins (multiple choice) I did them in 4 mins:rotfl:
    lots of guess work
    I'll findout in a few weeks how I've done:cool:

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the right hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Heres a reminder to all newcomers not to be put off by the trolls or insensitive, hurtful posts.
