You are so right nicca. I'd like my birthday cake to be the same next year as last year and for the new few as well.

With birthday cake I find that the taste and substance is much more important that the way it looks and the fancy packaging.

Three cheers for nice new shiny kitchens, Tixy, think you should have a kitchen warming party - I'll bring the popcorn and the music for Strip Tiddleywinks, we could have an alternative version of Pass the Parcel ( take a troll, bounce it round the circle, when the music stops you wrap another layer of paper round it. Winner gets to dip it in concrete and drop it in the river) and relive the sad old days of the last century when we were young, music was good and fashion something to laugh at!

Numpty - have a good trip down south and, when giving the four legged ones some care and attention, don't forget the two-legged one either! Give her my regards and good wishes.

We are just preparing for nicca's birthday next month folks, no need to worry the party will be on this thread on the 8th!

Nargle - funny you should say that as I've just popped some corn. Only enough for me and a few stray kernels that get lost in the dog's direction though. Still waiting for new oven delivery - promised within 28days, which is this Friday and I've still heard nothing.

Liking the pass the troll game though.

Fashion is still something to laugh at - I think belts should be given away and compulsory for all men under 30, why they are still sporting a version of the MC hammer look with their jeans crotch round their knees I really don't know!
