Woohoo Numpty :j. That'll allow for a fabulous treat for the piggies ;):D.

I just got really confused (again) by reading the first page of this thread - I couldn't understand why you'd all sneaked in a party while I was down hanging the washing out! :o

Spoon - have you borrowed my camera to start your ebaying empire? I can't find it anywhere (anywhere being my direct line of vision right now).

    We'll sneak a party in anywhere nicca:rotfl:

Yep, got your camera - I'm thinking about taking some piccies but can't find the battery - have you got it?

Yay to the freebie money, Numpty, that's brilliant. I now know someone who's had a payout from YouGov:j. Enjoy your trip - are you bringing some piggies back with you this time?

    What's happening on 7 May - have I missed somethingconfused-smiley-17432.gifconfused-smiley-17432.gif

:(Possibly the beginning of the end of the UK :p.

Merry trollbusters you say Spoon - I resent the accusation its far too early for boozing at work :D:rotfl:

However Tixy is a fairly happy bear today. But I'm annoyed at the troll that was on the bankruptcy forum and the fact that people don't blinking read the posts already in a thread.
(Not a stupid 170 page thread like this one mind, I mean a newbies thread started recently and someone ploughs in halfway down and asks all the questions the newbie has already answered (roll eyes)) - not anyone on here by the way :D

I really hope not, it'll ruin my birthday! It's my birthday on the 8th and there's one thing I really, really don't want!

Yeah, it's depressing, trying not to think too much about it, Tixy:(

Merry trollbusters you say Spoon - I resent the accusation its far too early for boozing at work :D:rotfl:
I mean "merry" as in "Robin Hood and his Merry Band of Men".... not sure who Robin Hood is though, or Maid Marian, and as most of us are female we would be in drag... but that was the general idea (and, no, in case you were wondering I haven't been drinking already, I'm just rambling and wishing I hadn't started this sentence.......)

However Tixy is a fairly happy bear today. But I'm annoyed at the troll that was on the bankruptcy forum and the fact that people don't blinking read the posts already in a thread.

Glad you're happy today... in spite of the troll and people not reading back through threads - annoying and causes unnecessary confusion:mad: . And as for trolls:mad::mad:

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

Pleasedo post if you feel you need help and advice. Most of us genuinely care and would like to help. Only a small minority are trolls - see above - try to ignore them and don't take it personally.
