I see Aron Rankin is at it again, Volkswagon Transporter 2006 advertised in Autotrader for £4000, brother in law fancied it and was willing to go to Halifax to see it (that's where the ad said it was) so I sent an email to Mr Rankin and this is the email I received from him,

Although I am registered in the UK,i recently moved to Cadiz, Spain (where my family is from) and the van is being shipped from here. I want to sell it in UK due to the fact that it's an UK version (right handed),it meets all UK standards.I bought this van from UK and It still has UK registration, so you won't have to pay any import and insurance fees.The van meets all United Kingdom guidelines so there will be no problem regarding UK Customs policy on receiving the van.The vehicle is in perfect condition, the bodywork is immaculate,no scratches, dents or hidden defects as well as the interior in excellent non-smoking condition , never been implied in any accident and it is as advertised. The van comes with log book, HPI cleared, No finance. Thought it sounded a bit dodgy so googled the name and came up with this forum. Thank god I did, otherwise my brother in law might have been tempted to buy.

He is now advertising a 2008 VW T5 van with 34,000 miles, all sounds very convincing but the price is too low £4400 compared to what they retail at! Emailed to say that I wanted to come out to Portugal to see the van but he said it could be paid for through Google Wallet.
