I have done this a few months back, i bought something and down, down, down in the small print in tiny writting it turned out that XXL was infact the size of a S.

So i did not want it, asked if they could send one that fits me and was told to pay and to return it and they would send correct size. All seemed a bit mad to me.

Anyway couple of weeks later a Non Paying Bidder dispute was oppened by the seller and i simple selected i wanted it and that i would send payment by cheque and it closed the dispute instantly without a strike to me.

Ever since then i am even more carefull when buying off ebay and i have been a user for over five years.

The only way a negative can be removed is if the buyer does not respond to a none payment dispute. Once they have responded and follow up with a negative the feedback will remain even if no payment has been received. What a mess Ebay sort it out!

Nope... THEY can remove it for you the seller....THEY just don't let on about it !!!! Gits......

Although they are going to do it for me NOW !! after explaining everything for the umpteenth time !!!!

I had to sign a form fax it to them and now its in the process of being removed and the buyer will be told WHY its been removed.

Still a poor show with Ebay though.

I've had this happen, so I know the OP has it correct. When you go to the dispute in the resolution centre it says something like "the buyer has indicated that they intend to pay for this item". Then the seller has to wait, the case cannot go foreward, fees cannot be refunded. The buyer just has to 'promise' payment, and that stops the non paying bidder thingy.

Only happened to me once, but has happened.

Its happened to me too.
Similar situation, ebayer wouldn't removed the negative feedbcak.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
