Fuming...Ebayer refused to pay me then left Negative Feedback !!!

I am livid.......a Ebay punter bought tickets for Black Eyed Peas that i couldn't go to.

After 4 days i had no contact, so sent a message asking if they still wanted them. got a response stating sorry having problems with paypal at the mo and it also won't let me pay by C/C ...So you begin to wonder.

I then got an email from her asking to pay half now and then half when i send her the tickets !!! yeah right...i'd have not a leg to stand on. So said NO and explained she has to pay the amount in full.

She then stated she'd get her BF to pay for them using his card when he came in from work..Surprise Surprise.....NO PYMT...so i sent Ebay a disputed item request for non pymt. She then told Ebay she was going to pay.....again didn't pay and then left me negative feedback saying i was unprofessional and rude !!!!

I have now managed to sell the tickets to someone else....BUT Ebay will not take this negative feedback away.... Very poor show firstly to the orig buyer and secondly Ebay.

One !!!!ed off Ebay seller !!!!:mad::mad:

you need to file an NPB on your bidder, then the neg can be removed.

I tried that....it wouldn't let me as the buyer had said they were going to pay for it. Therefore i couldn't raise a NPB again with the same buyer. :(

So you closed the NPB dispute BEFORE the buyer actually paid?
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

I think it sounds like a mutual, such a bad idea as OP now has FVFs to pay and can't get the neg removed.

Never ever do a mutual, if they are too stupid to pay they are too stupid to agree to get your FVFs back.

No...i started the unpaid item dispute...they told ebay they were going to pay. Ebay accepted this !!! thats why i am raging.

Anyway called them, explained EVERYTHING again and i now have to email a form to them, sign and date it and they will take off my neg feedback and give me my FVF too.

Did you actually close the dispute after 8 days then your FVF is automatically credited and the neg would be removed

Ebay don't have to accept anything in an unpaid item dispute YOU as the seller close the dispute when payment is received.

Look guys i am not arguing over this. I started the dispute, the buyer confirmed to Ebay they were gna pay and they closed the case. Thats what happened fact.

Hence why the supposed buyer could leave me neg feedback, not pay, no FVF etc...

    Thats what happened.

Hence why i was understandably angry.. Anyway Ebay have accepted this was wrong and gna fix it. Done and dusted along with a poor Ebay lol

I can only say then that yours is the first time ever that I've heard of a buyer being able to close the dispute like that and I get emails all day from people with problems and such like on ebay and paypal.

A buyer can however close a mutual by telling ebay they are going to pay, so I think this was a mutual , which incidentally still goes through the dispute centre, and not a full dispute.

Agree with Soolin. I have never in 10 years heard of what you describe happening but a mutual request fits your facts perfectly.

S it sounds like it was your mistake not understanding the process. At leasr ebay have sorted it for you now
