Afternoon all!
Am absolutely shattered today - no real reason why, I've been working quite hard lately but haven't had any really late nights or anything like that....
Anyway, my day....- Checked banks - not good will have to transfer money from emergency savings account to see me through to the next bursary (early next month). Bills are paid but then it would be into OD for food and bits and pieces - not having that!
- Think about frugal food plan to spend as little as possible on food
- Took lunch to work and had breakfast at home
- Walked dog so far for free exercise and have one more to go
- Will check and email the latest job tonight
- Have a bath and a flop
- Managed to write 2 more lessons in free lessons today so that's two less to do on the weekend
- Cook something from the freezer for tea
- Had gas and elec bills - elec is OK £20 or so in credit, the gas is a different story:eek: - £200 in debit, well I suppose we had the coldest winter for years but my reaction has been to turn down the thermostat and reduce the time the heating is on for this afternoon - anyone else had the same issue?
- Phone naughty AA about extra payment they've taken
- Try to find phone bill - gone missing somewhere
Less than 2 weeks to the school Easter hols now - hurrah!January grocery spending - £82.73/ £1200 -

- Kids lunches to school
- Breakfast and tea bag to work - remembered the milk today!
- Manager bought coffees this morning
- DS gone off on school trip for 5 days
- Worked 5 hr shift
- 2 x HC
- Sorted out mums washing, bathed her, washing out on line, fed animals, paid her bills
- Heating off
- Cut out 25p MOC and put in purse
- Sort out lunch boxes for tomorrow
- Sort out breakfast and teabag for tomorrow
- Airer dry HC
- Get everyones clothes ready for tomorrow
- Find paperwork and skirt for interview tomorrow :eek::eek:
- Have a lovely relaxing and pampery shower tonight, facepack my face, intensive conditioner my hair and use some lovely freebie moisturiser from a previous Boots voucher haul
- Not use DW
- Bit of housework
- Try and get an early night, 5am start, finish work at 12 and then interview at 4pm, in between I want to try and rest and refresh myself, also have some jobs to do at mums (need more hours...)

Checked the online banking (watching the money before Debt Line takes it later this week

Another new week! Monday always feels like a busy day at home for me so I am planning:
- short day at work (hopefully get away at 4) so longer to be productive at home... (yeah, right, I hear you cry!) This basically means [STRIKE]finishing[/STRIKE] continuing with the spring clean I didn't quite finish at the weekend...:o Have done a little spruce round
- make a batch of quorn mince chilli for baked spuds and for lunches later in the week OH is on the job
- post a v cheap but v pretty card with a...wait for it...Christmas 2007 2nd class stamp! I found a full book of 12 in a drawer. Result. :money:
- look at the wedding budget
and count our pennies for the things that are still outstanding.
- update spending diary £24.46 updated...
Happy Monday!
- Also got a free sample of tinted moisturiser through the post - just the right size to last til my bday!
Fay - Wedding planning - I started off with this spreadsheet http://www.pinkweddingdays.co.uk/details/wedding_budget.aspx and made a guess of all the costs (looking up prices on websites when I had no clue how much things would cost). If you put in your total budget it gives you a breakdown of how much you 'should' put towards each section. The thing I really like is that you can put in your estimate and then actual cost - so when things come in under budget you can give yourself a big pat on the back!
HTH (PS - just realised this is a budget planner for gay weddings... I'm sure everyone needs to budget for the same things tho'!) 0 -
