Mumof2 - sending healing vibes to the pooch what stole the chocolate

    welcome suep

Welcome home Toots! :j We've missed you xxx

G&B - healing vibes for LO xxx

Well, had a lovely meal at Dil's parents to celebrate Nuroz and I'm stuffed full of exceedingly fine food.

Went out this afternoon for another hour or so on the interviewing stuff and managed to close off one case and actually contact someone at another place. I need to go back in the week.

Also, at last, after HOURS of searching over the last week or so, managed to find a place for NN and I to go on holiday in May. We're really fussy with our requirements but this one seems to tick ALL the boxes AND is available. As I only found it about half an hour before I was due to go out, I quickly nipped next door to show it to NN, got her approval but then didn't get time to book so fingers crossed it's still available for the week we want tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow is going to be a lazy day once I've been to Mr T (he's sent me another "spend £90, get £15.00 off at the checkout" voucher so I will stock up on non-perishables. I think the chance of washing is out the window given the forecast..

Toots.. Welcome home hun.. and hope you are feeling better after your rest away from fretting about the thread :p

GnB.. Sending huge healing vibes for LO.. Poor lamb has been through more than enough already I'm sure she doesn't need more.. and big strong mummy vibes coming for you! xx

I'm actually having a reasonable weekend here.. not killed anyone or even maimed anyone or even been particulalry rude to anyone :p And I so needed this break from the children!! KH dragged Tiddles to his on Friday kicking and screaming and refusing to put on her coat.. loved it I did.. I am so juvenile! Is i wrong I hope they have been really horrible for him all weekend?

Apparently I'm having Jacob on Monday, I feel a bit pressured into it as it is due to my sis starting her new job as she usually has him. I told DS to sort out the nursery place the SW put in place for him because I can't cope with having him too often as my hips and back are starting to play up big time.

I am home tomorrow so should be able to get the new thread up before the children arrive back unless we hit a major accident like last time.

Kazw your postie post had me in stitches! Did he not already know you are mad?! :p;)

Valli embb beat me to it re your DS. I think it's a bit like telling small children not to put stuff up their noses and in their ears,

Ha!! Ha ROTFL a few weeks ago DS1 is 15 and we had several trips to casualty and doc to remove paper from ear :rotfl:

"Got back only to discover Pip our Jack Russell not only opened the bag where DH stashed an Easter Egg which I guess was for me, but took the egg out, opened it up, opened the plastic, took off the foil and proceeded to eat the lot. It was a big 360g milk chocolate Dairy Milk one and as we speak she's in hospital on a drip thanks to chocolate poisoning; the vet made her sick and she brought a lot up, but her heart rate is very elevated so she'll be in all night. It'll cost in the region of £350 and I don't know if we're covered by insurance as it's not the first time she's done it"

OH NO! What a lovely big chocolate egg! Hope Pip recovers and that DH buys you a replacement also hope insurance pays the bill.

    G & B - Hope LO is ok.

Not much flying done today. Put 4 loads through w/m and skimmed/hoovered hall, kitchen, living room. MIL was a star and attacked DS1 and 2's bedrooms. She deserves a gold star and she gave them both a fiver. DS1 - getting to school on time for 5 days. DS2 for playing well at football today.

Had a good night out last night at a quiz. Our team won:j:j:j!

DH is in a funny mood he accidentally kicked me awake at 6.15 and then came downstairs complaining about lack of tea in bed at 7.30 and exploded because I was online. He's been working long hours and has been away alot recently so I think it's getting to him.

I was researching trichtillomania as DD2 suffers from it (hair pulling). He thinks it's a figment of my imagination but he doesn't see her with wet hair and see the bald patches. If anyone has any inspiring advice on the subject I'd be very glad to get a pm from them.

SIL has invited us for lunch tomorrow so I'm getting up early to make a pudding. DH is out tonight with the dads from DS2's class. DS2 has early football match tomorrow morning so I pity all the dads who are on the sauce. They didn't plan this one too well as it's a 9.15 kick of 15 miles away. It's only to be expected football is male dominated and women are not allowed to organise things. They didn't plan that one too well. Just had a text from DH and they are off to the late night bar maybe he'll be making the pudding tomorrow and I'll do the football I think he will still be over the limit.

Off to get my beauty sleep.... night night peeps.

ETA Welcome back TOOTS! Lovely to see you back.
