Morning all - I'm happy to do hols too, and personally can easily get to Sheffield/Meadowhall

    Happy Birthday Jassa:bdaycake:

am up bright and ealry this morning and getting on with stuff. Have just done labels for some dry goods (pearl braley, lentils, Pudding Rice) as I re-use Douwe Egberts jars;)

I also (finally) typed up my complaint to the bank as the CC payemtn which went missing triggered a couple of charges, including a default one...if I get the cash back I shall bung it at the mortgage OP fund.
I have a price for painting my fascias and tidying up on the roof, rebonding the edges. Trouble is I will have to have a full scaffold - £400 or thereabouts. The bloke is neighbour's brother and son of neighbours across the road and he's just done his parents. He also took down the aerial and it might make sense to have that done as I no longer use it, while he's up there. I said I'd let him know once the car has been serviced/MOTs though, in truth, I could give the go-ahead now. Just want to make sure there are no nasty shocks in store car wise.
Personally I would rather have someone I know do a job than scoot around for prices. Any opinions on this one ladies? (And bear in mind that as I am on my own I think that adds to the risk of getting a stranger in and them spinning me a yarn..)

    have a good day all!

Its been a bit mad here and my computer wasn't playing nicely. I have given it a talking to and it seems to have done the trick. I'm still back on p28 and I'm not sure if I will have time to catch up, so love, hugs, happy birthdays etc to all that I have missed.

Today I'm going to sort through all the wardrobes/drawers in my room as I now have 2 baskets of clothes that I have no where to put so needs must. To be fair most of it is OH so while he's out I'll be chucking it- well what he doesn't know won't hurt him surely????????????? and who needs 40++++ pairs of socks anyway?

  • As for me, I'm meant to be going out tomorrow, so I've had a bath and washed my hair. THat way, if I wake up and feel up to going then I won't have any excuse not to go! Sometimes when I feel rough the whole effort ofgetting ready is so tiring mentally that I can't actually go out and do what I'm meant to be doing! So at least I can just get up and have breakfast fling some clothes on and go. I'm going to try, moping around at home won't do me any good. All I want to do is sleep at the moment!

    Hugs, Rose.

    hoover
    use WM &TD a lot
clean kitchen (I was only away for 2 night OMG what a mess) but it is mostly down to my cats who go in and out all night and it has been raining, MUDDY PAW PRINTS ARGH!)
do some planning for next week
