Hugs Sandy - thinking of you at 3 xx

LL - hope you're having a good day. Tonnes of love flying at you xx

I've just s/s'ed (again!). The place does look tidy so that'll have to do. Just off to pick up DD who's been on a school trip for three days. She'll come home smelly and tired but I'm sure she'll have had a ball. I've just finished all our washing ready for the pile she brings home.

    Hugs to you all xx

Sandy, just getting my coat, then I'm joining you and all the Flyladies :j Makes me smile what a rag-tag lot we'll look (orange paint, wolves, badgers, washing-up hands, overalls, group of pre-schoolers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ).

I'm the very mucky one - I had a bath this morning - complete waste of time as I decided to check the oil+water in the car...then I thought how mucky it looked...then I decided to wash it (I borrowed DS's car washing buckets and sponges;)) then I decided to clean out the inside. I've also cleaned the kitchen and mopped aroung the loo (which was mopped yesterday

Still the car, the kitchen and the bathroom ares VERY clean now. Shame I'm not!

    :coffee: anyone?

    (is shattered)
glad to see you Rose and Mumof2!

  • Did I say I'd be back at 12:15? :o

Ah ... but I have washed my hair, and had lunch, and wrestled with the Halifax  and ordered some cello strings as well.... :)

So I'm popping back to claim a bathroom star, making three for this week. That'll be my lot, too.

Someone (chocolate addict?) was asking how we all manage - I've been going for over 6 months now, and still normally manage only 3 stars a week, but I vary the rooms so that nothing gets too terrible and I 'swish and swipe' the others even if they don't get done 'properly' (and get the family to tidy up much more nowadays). I think that - with two small children - your priorities sound very sensible.

Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area STAR PLEASE, MY LOVELIES! :j:j:j
    Level One
    [STRIKE]
    Clean floors in these rooms
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this
    [/STRIKE]

    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
[/STRIKE] I haven't cheated! This time it's MY study/office which has been done (and very much easier than DH's it was!)

    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Collect all the dirty laundry [/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]
    2. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    3. Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
    4. replace any sponges, flannels, toiletries that need it [/STRIKE]
    5. clear a clutter spot in the bathroom and make it clean and decluttered! Looks pretty clear (she says smugly)
What is it about men and envelopes, then? My DH does exactly the same thing: opens the mail, reads it and puts it back in the envelope so you can't tell what it is without opening every single blooming letter again.... :rotfl:

Sandy - hope it went well, but please take someone with you in future!

Could I ask for some good luck vibes, please, at 4:58pm for my DD who is taking a piano exam. She's missing an after-school party to do it :( and is feeling sorry for herself....

    Love to all

You may not want me with you, just about to clear out the chooks (in the rain) and I saw they've come into our front porch and left me some lovely presents on the mat which I've had to dustpan and brush off - one needed rinsing under the tap as rather !

Popping back on here has really helped me; I've sorted out some of DS's toys, cleared the top of their toy drawer I've been meaning to do for 3 months and sorted through a pile of paperwork which has been hanging around for donkeys years.

Hope the journey goes ok. You'll be fine, today is just the test and you have only to get there and back and come straight on here and tell us how you got on.

More importantly, please try to arrange for someone to go with you for the results, even if you would rather see the neurologist alone. I'm not sure where you are but I would certainly go with you if you were close enough? PM me if you want?

    Mel x

Same here... we need to know how you are, and if you let us know where you are I'm sure there will be a local flylady or two who can help out.
She doesn;t need a reason - she has a right to ask and the LL is breaking the law if he refuses to supply.

Summer is certainly on the way - I have washing on the line, and we ate lunch in the garden :T

Don't forget my clients... they're about to join us too :D

It's not summer here... it's raining :( so the builders have left early. And the work datacentre is down so I'm making my calls without the information I need. Still, I managed to get my travel insurance at lunchtime. I have my passport, I just need to workout what to take for a weekend in Amsterdam as I'm off to my brother's tonight and then leaving for the airport at 4am
