Helenhelen glad you got some help when your car broke down, it’s wonderful to find someone who is willing to help a damsel in distress!

Lady Liberty, thinking of you and hope you are ok. I’m glad your Macmillain nurse is coming round today. Love you lots and lots xx

Love and hugs Diva and Ishtar

MOAM I hope your LO is better now and that you haven’t gone down with it too

Vanilla thinking of you and DH, glad he’s in respite. I’m so sorry he’s feeling so poorly again

Hugs Jill, at least now you know for sure it is Aspergers you will be able to tackle it in the best way

Pigpen, glad to hear about the HB, you go and kick those council tax people!

Rach, what did you think of Giraffe in Guildford? We’ve heard mixed reports about it

Penny hope you are recovering about your fall, it sounds nasty

Hugs Sexy, hope your cold is better now and the horrible deputy wasn’t too mean during your lessons y’day

Hugs Me, I really think your DD needs to go to the doctors asap. I’ve suffered from depression for years and the best thing my parents ever did was to show me lots of love and support. They were very understanding and loving and that’s all you can do really for your DD. Support her to do the things she feels she is able to do, encourage her to have a routine, but let her rest if that’s what she needs as depression is very tiring. Going to the doctors is vital, and if you are worried enough to take your meds out of the house when you are out, then I would say you really need to get help for her. HTH, PM me if you need to talk more xx

Holly hope you are better after your fall, ouch

Soappie I’m glad your back is better, how wonderful to work with a masseuse, so jealous! Glad the meeting went well too

Smartie I hope your trip to A&E with DS wasn’t too serious

Pigpen, so relieved DD1 is back and that Tabitha is ok

Mudbath hugs for you and your friends

Hugs Sandy, thinking of you xx

Disdisbiff I hope your sciatica and back spasms ease up soon

I've just read about 25 pages! Sorry I've not been about this week, I'm not really coping very well at all. I've really been pushing myself hard since the beginning of March, and it was going really well, but something in my brain seemed to go ping on Wednesday and I feel like I'm failing on all fronts.
I think I need a bit of a break from work, as I've been focusing on making things manically and getting overtired from all my activities.
So, insteadof working, today I'm going to sort out all the docs we need for the holiday, need to let the car insurance company know we are going away and sort out our EHIC or what ever they are called. Need to gather the car registration doc and all sorts of things.
I might do a little gardening too, not sure yet. Need to wash up that's for sure.
Maybe I will feel a bit better when I've actually done soemthing useful. *goes off to find out*

Oh I meant to say, I was terribly grumpy and miserable yesterday and text DH to let him know - he came home with daffodils and chocolate cake! What a wonderful guy he is!

    Morning all.

I'm posting early because I can't get in the kitchen as the plumber is in there. Can't even nip in for the polish, window cleaning stuff and cloths, because the WM is currently in front of the cleaning cupboard! *shruggy smiley*.:D

Sorry I had to dash off last night - we'd scheduled Mr LW to colour my hair for me - I wanted rid of the grey roots before Ostara (Spring Equinox, on Saturday).

Course you can, as long as I get him back in good condition.:rotfl:

Sandy don't know if you're having a read on here, but just thought I'd share how I cope with MRIs.
I keep my eyes gently closed throughout the procedure, and I visualise my friend Badger (spirit animal) guiding me through and giving me the strength to be in the enclosed space. It helps me, and might just help you too.

As for joining the party at the scanner..... I'm the one with long red hair, two hazel walking sticks, one of which is topped with an antler, and a spirit Wolf in tow.;)

May get Mr LW (working from home today, otherwise I'd not have coped with the plumber's presence) to see if he can get to the kettle to make some tea in a bit.

    Later, folks.

Oh.... sounds like the plumber's nearly done..... time to declutter £70 from my purse.:(

    Hi ,
How funny Lamewolf as I also imagine I am a badger snuggled into my sett when Im having my MRI's. I also listen to the knocks and make them into patterns. I always ask for an extra blanket as I get really cold. I have been known to fall asleep. Good luck Sandy x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Have caught up very quickly - huge hugs for Sandy - and "Omigosh!" for Piggers who doesn't do hugs.... L-L I'm sorry that your news was not as good as you had hoped.

    Hope everyone else is OK.

I had a huge migraine on Wednesday which took the stuffing out of me all yesterday but my brain feels a little less wobbly today, so I'm off to do the bathroom...

When it comes to the list for today (Friday), may I claim the cleaning I did in DH's office a couple of days ago? It occupies the spare room in the annexe over the garage. If so, this is done....

    Morning all

    Today's list complete
    :)

Thinking of you all - Toots, Ishtar, Diva, Lady-L, Ruth, Pigpen and all the people I've missed out.

    Lamewolf,
I hate having people in to do work in the house. I got in a terrible state when we had the bathroom/toilet done a year or so ago.

Oh and I've vacuumed through downstairs after making a sponge and some little fruit cakes.

And special good luck wishes for Sandy.

Sorry I've been absent but really got the black dog on my tail now - been to the GP and she's upped my meds which is a real disappointment, but it had to be done. I'm doing little bits around the house and just sorted out the bedding / towels chest of drawers and got rid of old stuff so that made me feel a bit better.

I'll pop on as and when; but normally it takes about a week for me to start feeling a bit more normal after upping meds.

    Love to all as ever.
