Me too!!
Also finally completed all my school planning. I wanted to do a few different things next week, and it's taken ages of preparation.
Two of my groups have a dictonary exercise to do - so I've given them a recipe for chocolate cake in French, and promised extra marks for anyone who makes it at home and brings it in for me!
I had coffees to do after church today, and then lunch, so I only had an hour in the garden. It's not such nice weather here in the Extreme South, grey, chilly and a bit windy. We had rain as well yesterday.
Hi hex:hello: - my daphne is smelling divine at the minute, so I thought of you while I was gardening! I'm almost ready to plant in my bare stretch of border where I took out a huge mahonia. I'm thinking maybe a white flowered Ribes, which is so pretty, or maybe one of the may flowering viburnums. More hellebores, primroses and snowdrops around that.
Hi dusty!:hello: You are well ahead in your garden! The front needs just a bit of tweaking - feeding and mulching mainly, but there's loads to do in the back...
Hi sexymouse :hello:- I'm so focused on the next week, and then the end of term, that i haven't even thought about the meet - I will let you know when I have sorted myself out a bit! Ten days to go is it? You need one of pigpen's special countdowns!
Hi Toots:hello:It's lovely to have you back!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Pigpen, yay to non-stressful weekends. Funny that DD played up for KH when he put her coat on, bet you were sniggering quietly! Do you have any physio or anything for your back and hips? I suffer from a bad back occasionally and it is grim.
Snigger quietly? No chance I was openly guffawing!!!
I don't see anyone for anything.. I was meant to be going for an op to fix my stomach muscles which are not attached to anything which means my back muscles aare holding my upright and working Very hard to do so. I have arthritis in my hips and a hip dysplasia so they are pretty dodgy anyway.. I was supposed to be having a referral to physio weeks ago and never chased it up because they wouldn't be any use .. all they say is do tummy exercises.. which just puts more strain on my back so would be useless.

Hi hex:hello: - my daphne is smelling divine at the minute, so I thought of you while I was gardening!
Hello - I have Jaqueline Postill courtesy of my dad - it is still young but the smell is just wonderful. The viburnums I put in last year are just flowering now despite heavy attack from viburnum beatle last year - Dawn and Auora I think. Every day there is something new out - I love this time of year :j. I am at the happy planning stage on the right hand front garden, but everything has to be shallow rooted, funds are limited and it must be cottage style to reflect the left front - and not clash with the wisteria.
We took MIL for coffee and cakes at my favourite garden centre yesterday and came back with a huge floor standing vase complete with pink orchids, white lillies, and a huge pink thistle thing. I am starting to wonder just what DH is feeling guilty about :rotfl:.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Sandy (((hugs))) honey I am so glad you off loaded onto the thread so we could give you a little support - GGGGRRRRRHHHHHHH at your DH for not taking time out to listen i hope you have sorted him out now - just tell him you need his support big style just now.
Its very good news that your cast is off - that must feel nice - and just keep trying to use the arm to build it up gradually.
awh honey my heart went out to you when i read about your feelings over the MRI - quite understandable - but it was lovely to see the power of the flyladies supporting you - I wish I had known and could have been with you too - although I doubt if there was much room - i would have been the one in the pj's with the tubes sticking out of various places!!
and you had better start working on your buddy list because from now on I expect you to have someone with you when you go for tests and important appointments - it is not a good idea to be going for tests alone - ok this time you just had a small siezure but if you had had someone with you you might not have had the siezure at all and its better that there is someone to make sure you get home safely - just imagine what might have happened if you had been on the way home when it happened:eek: so I am putting my foot down - make sure you have someone with you - is there an epilepsy support group around your area? And I know around here there is a volunteer group for accompanying people to hospital etc - might be worth asking the info desk at the hospital or your GP or the WRVS - and its not a weakness to ask for help before you start moaning at me - its being sensible!
In a strange way maybe your seizure was a good thing because they could do the scan with out any discomfort or stress to you and maybe it will have shown up something better on the scan - who knows.
As for them being extra nice to you afterwrds you have to stop being silly - yes they were extra nice but that was because of you having your siezure and their concern for your recovery NOTHING to do with what they saw on the scan - they are trained not to disclose anything my love - its not their job and they are not trained to interpret what they see -the neurologist does that - so PLease accept their kindness as just that - concern and kindness.
as for waiting for the results - you will cope and remember if the appointment comes through quickly its just as likely to be good news as bad - the neurologist will be just as anxious to tell you as you are to hear so dont go reading anymore into it yet. as the others have said WAIT until you know what you have to deal with angel - and believe me you will find a way to cope - we all have inner strength that we dont know about.
If tiredness and stress are big triggers on your siezures why not spend some time surfing things to help - relaxation techniques, deep breathing yoga, reiki etc The MS website has great stuff on fatigue which might give you some pointers and help you concentrate on something else for now.
I wish we could be there in person to help you through this but I know as LadyL has said also that just posting on here and the love and support of the flyers makes a huge difference. Pop in and tell us how good or bad you are - we are here to listen and offer advice allbeit not always sensible but we will do our best.
My thoughts and prayers are with you honey at this difficult time - you are already a strong person - you deal with your epilepsy and siezures - you can and will get through this I know.
love and hugs
toots xx
Sorry I know there is a new thread but I don't know how to quote from one post to another:o
Thank you for all you said, I am sat here with tears pouring down my face (again:o)
I am not good at asking for help, I just tend to get on and do things. I don't really have any RL friends, or not any that I am close enough to to get them to come with me.
I am used to having seizures in assorted places (had a couple on the bus before)
The flyladies have been absolutely amazing, I don't know how I would have got through the last few days without them.
Me and DH have talked a lot this weekend. I wasn't to good yesterday had a terrible headache then just passed out. It made me wonder if it has happened before and I just put it down to a seizure, like when I broke my arm. I have never done anything like that before.
The house we are buying is empty now, sellers had already bought a new build so moved straight in. DH is going to ask the estate agent to morrow if we can rent it until the sale is finalised. I have family up there and if things are bad I want to be starting and continuing my treatment in one place instead of splitting between 2 places.
Not sure about support groups where we are moving to but I don't really like things like that. Like I said I don't do asking for help.
I'm not strong and I am having trouble coping with all of this, I'm not sure I ever will be able to.
Thank you for all your lovely words, you are so kind.
Hope you are ok. xxSealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Just spent 4 hours marking maths books in Starbucks - I was there so long that the 2 boys on the till had either gone on their lunch break, or they'd gone home cos they had a half day! Spoke to some really nice people whilst I was in there though throughout the morning and afternoon. I had breakfast (fruit toast and coffee as usual), mid-morning coffee, and then lunch (tuna melt panini and a mango and passionfruit ice drink). Spent a small fortune, so not very MSE, but it made the marking seem a bit less horrific.
sexymouse xx
I suppose as long as you buy something at regular intervals they won't mind.
Hi toots. I'm fine thanks (have decided I must be solar powered) No studying and looking forward to getting into the garden when it warms up a bit.0
