Made the beds and did my dailies and have cleared all the worktops in the kitchen and sprayed so they're nice and clean. I'm not meant to do them until tomorrow so am ahead of myself; but have been trying to keep gently busy if you know what I mean. Just making sweet and sour chicken (and feeling horribly guilty because of our 4 lovely ladies in the garden :( ) and am waiting for the vet to re-call - seems the nurse I spoke to was premature in saying Pip is fine as she's still showing definite signs of poisoning :(.

Planning to do the ironing tonight whilst watching Dancing On Ice, yes I know I'm sad! DH been very sweet and loving this evening and apologised for yesterday but I am feeling like a robot and devoid of any emotion which is an unfortunate side effect of upping the meds until I'm stable again so I'm not reciprocating (sp?)

Looks like you guys have all been busy and there's a lot of stars being claimed - you're putting me well to shame!!

Welcome to seafarers_wife and gtx; this thread will really help with your motivation and the house looks so much nicer when you can keep on top of it - not that I do, but some on here are much more organised than me :o

Off to do my noodles and probably see you on the next thread this evening ...

Hi all, hope you are all well and a special Hi for Toots, hope you are ok xx

Weekend was a washout.......got as far as Carmarthan and got a text to say no-one else was going!!!! Well I was nearer there than here so carried on....in the wind, rain and fog...........
Sheep were in the field yesterday and today so plenty of company, got home today around 4 and have put on a load of washing and done some folding. DD has had a shower and her hair dried and checked ( will need to get some stuff, again, tomorrow).....will try and catch up at some point before the new thread(although think it's unlikely....sorry xx)
  • Well, we're back from the hospital. DS3 seems absolutely fine and almost nonplussed about the whole affair. He's more put out that there were no playstations to play like he was told there would be.

Have just decluttered a sandwich, DS3 has decluttered some jelly and ice cream and has been placated with no school until at least Wednesday and gentle wii playing all day tomorrow!

House looks like a tip, but thanks to flying, it won't take long to sort it out. Everywhere is definitely looking better and I've only been flying 2 or 3 weeks, so .....

Thanks to everyone on this thread......it's brill!!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    Hi all

Hope everyone is ok. Been away this weekend, had a lovely time but glad to be home after a long journey!

We both have the day off tomorrow but are out in the morning, hopefully I will find time to fly in the bathroom at the very least tonight or tomorrow, it's the room most in need at the moment.

It must be pj and toast time ;)

Notso - pleased to hear DS is fine.

I have now finished all the ironing although the WM is still on so there will still be more to do at some point.

We have had a lovely weekend with too much to eat and drink. Littles have just gone to bed and I need to wash the good china (that isn't DW safe), sort work and school clothes and prep pack lunches. Really CBA - would far rather sit here and eat turkey sandwiches and pick at puddings - lemon and lime cheesecake, carrot cake or chocolate cake anyone? The meringue roulade is all gone :o.

Matthew cat spent all night sleeping with my MIL :A, with the net result that it is the first time she has slept through since we lost FIL months ago. He is now snoring on the Times after a hard nights snuggling. I think it must be lovely to be a cat. As long as he doesnt think he is sleeping with us tonight
