I got a birthday card with the birthday crossed out because he only noticed when it was too late to get another one, bless him, it's the thought that counts :lovethoug

In the same envelope was a memory stick and note saying that he wants some audio books, so not even a free card let alone a free lunch :rotfl:

  • Double celebration for me today, for the first time in 23 years my wedding anniversary is the same day as Mothering Sunday. I got a beautiful bracelet from my husband and some lovely ornaments from my boys and got taken out for a lovely meal. Happy days.

Double celebration here too....it was DD's 3rd birthday. I was allowed to stay in bed until they had eaten breakfast (& written my card) then I was allowed to open my card & present first!

What a beautiful day though. First day we were out in the garden without coats & we even ate lunch outside....bring on the warmer days!

Hee Hee, my brother wrote 'Happy B' on the card he got my mum, realised there was no getting away with it so just apologised for it in the card!

Hope everyone had a great MD. My boys are both serving in the Army, but managed to phone me (after a bit of prodding from their stepfather that is). Was worth so much :-)

My husband got his usual lie in and after I had done the washing up he called the kids and they gave me some bits and pieces. But only because I sent him to Sainsburys with them.

On the same day I arranged a suprise for all of his family to be here here and gave him a cake and birthday present which cost quite a lot of money.

I told him that he did not deserve it.... LOL.

My girls spoilt my partner who is not their Mother.

I think they've missed having a mother and enjoyed the day as much as my partner!
