Love Film and Eon are sponsers of the survey.... therefor i presume for every account foxy get for them they receive a fee, which is how our wages are paid.... i dont confess to know the ins and outs... i do my job, i get paid so i'm happy.

And no i have not pointed out the bad points of a telesales job as this is not sales as such, you dont have to get results if they say no you move on to the next question, we are not pushed to make sales....

i'm not here to back up how ethical they are or if they apply to TCPS i am here to state that i work for them and i'm happy doing so, and i find it very strange that people who never have and do not wish to do so spend so much time on this.

i would have much more time for your comments if you had worked for them and had a bad experience then fair enough that would be helpful to people.

yes i have looked at many other ventures such as Arise Uk and am always interested in genuine work from home jobs. It is always good to find out who you are working for, i am just glad i relied on my own initiatve rather than peoples oppinions, who have never worked for them.

I am here to reply to anyones questions who wishes to no more about the positon not to fight for foxycomms, i just think people need to hear both sides of the coin.

so i wont be replying to any more threads from Mr Oink, i find it disturbing that someone should spend so much time on this when it has nothing to do with them, you are entitled to your oppinion and you seem very in the know... but i personally would not start investigating a company i do not intend to work for or never have... i have something called a life :) positivity people!!! it goes a long way!!! :)

    Hi Browntoa,

I'm afraid that I'm not very techie minded - how can you tell if a web-site is a bit 'sus' and if it's secure or not?

    Mr Oink,

Are there any obvious signs to look out for when job hunting, anything in particular that should set the alarm bells ringing?

should be a padlock on the page at the top or bottom

    http://www.instantssl.com/ssl-certificate-products/https.html

if you look at the foxy comm page it has no such thing

they have used an insecure web form , this is a bit techie but explains how it works

    http://www.webcom.com/html/tutor/forms/start.shtml

the foxy comms one is so insecure I can look at the coding of the page and see the email address that they are sending it to

if they spent a small amount of money then it could be secure

I would say the easiest way to check sites is to search on here , if the site is legit then it will already have positive or negative feedback on here

I think my safest bet is to check with you guys first, as I tend to go into Forest Gump mode when it comes to anything techie. Thanks for the info, I'm sure it will help many of us techno-phobes.

I actually thought I spotted two suspect posts on Friday evening, I was in a bit of a rush at the time, and by the time I got back to look into them further, they had both disappeared.

I think that overall though Foxy have done us a favour, as this thread seems to be bringing people forward with their own tales and experiences, which is good.

Do you have any knowlege of HCC?

yes , it is possible to ring the number and report any concerns

If you have a specific query you can contact us on 01625 545740.

I've tried all possible combinations of name/address etc and nothing comes up , even for their previous homeworking site that I posted earlier.

I have real concerns about any web site that takes personal data like this ( and they do want quite a bit of personal data down to date of birth and address) and have posted about other web sites on this forum that handle personal data and di not have a valid registration. I'm not saying they would use your data for anything untowards purely that I have concerns that the data requested is really all needed at the initial stage and then that it is being stored and used to adhere to the data protection rules
