  • @Bluelady53,
When you talk about the 24-hour DIAL TIME, that is even worse!
From your your experience how many shift hours you had to cover to make up the 24-hour dial time?

stevegage84 is singing the tune, probably the partner in crime :D
I think one of the guy registered with the company is called Stephen.... won't mention surname.

I am saying they 'steal' because that was the experience I had with them initially and that's even before working for them! I'm not just saying they steal, it's not speculation. Oh and they won't comply with regulations either therefore I said they have no business ethics, in fact breaking the law.

Yes I share the same first name as the guy who runs the company - big deal!

I am just saying give them a chance - I haven't started with them yet so I am trying to keep an open mind about them. From what I have seen so far they seem like an alright company. If you had a bad experience then fair enough you had a bad experience - but there comes a time when you end up going too far!

is'nt it odd how two new low post members are replying to each other about how wonderful this company is

Perhaps its because I came on here to find out more, have not had the bad experiences that others have, and so far the company seems quite good to me? I can't speak for the other new member though :)

There's nothing odd, dodgy or anything else about it.

Dear Diggerman and Browntoa, I havent heard of Foxycomms before so put in a search for reviews for them on the internet and this is the only link that came up, not sure i will bother to use it again tho, there seem to be an awful lot of people writing stuff yet they have no experience with this company, very strange, maybe you dont have anything better to do with your time, perhaps YOU should apply for a job if your up to it and then put a decent reason for your thoughts on this company. I certainly will!
  • Hi, No i didnt buy any special equipment, but I would think if its the type of thing for you, you may want to invest in aphone and a headset as it does make your arm ache holding the phone to your ear all day.
  • Hi Richtea, i would think you would have to work for about 4 days 6+ hours aday to get your dial time up to 24hours. I didnt quite do those hours, so unfortunatly for me didnt qualify for any pay.

They say if you leave after that trial period you will get paid for all the work you have done.

According to their payment terms, when you leave then the final pay will be 2 months in arrears instead of 1 month, due to checks carried out on quality etc.

    Hope this helps

I was about to apply but I am now having second thoughts... [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]

My wife has had experience working with another centre whom I have no fear in naming as they were a very good firm, AON UK - Though they do not promote home workers - They do have a few... And what you work is what you get paid for. Reason: Even the home workers have RANDOM CALLS MONITORED FOR QUALITY...

There is NO REASON they cannot do this if the company can afford to have home workers... Especially in this particuler field. I am no expert but just 10 minutes research says that the costs involved making such a scheme a "Home Working Venture" would cost MORE than letting a building to house the call centre workers.

NB: With this knowlage - Why the heck do Job Centre Plus NOT RESEARCH THE ADVERTS FIRST AND SAVE US ALL TIME!!!
  • I got the call from someone in Manchester, and i worked for them for 3days, so didnt meet their standard of 24 hours call time, I always thought if you worked for someone you have to get paid for what you did, but not so with Foxy (very appropriate name I think ) anyway lesson learned !:p
  • That's really strange because they have a lot of people working for them and everyone gets paid according to the rules, we're all very happy with them :)
  • I know that everyone always gets paid according to the terms etc which are very fair and upfront. I know that once or twice someone has started whilst waiting on a reply from another job interview and then just left Foxy in the lurch. Their terms say that you need to complete a 24hr trial, if you decide to continue (as 99%) of people do, you get paid for the whole trial - even on the training day!! Very fair if your a genuine person I think!
