Neat find! Seems to be new - eg comparison sites don't mention anything that good. With the headline 20Mbps figure I assume they are piggybacking on the BT exchange ADSL2+ rollout, and making a pre-emptive strike at £11+£8=£19 and without any mobile phone tie-in, against say o2 home broadband Premium + o2 home Phone E&W ie £10.00+ £9.50 = £19.50 (and which is still manana).

Probably tied in with BT being allowed to compete offering bundles that they previously weren't allowed to (Though BT's own retail bundles have various broadband data caps and tried to tie in Vision+ boxes.)

    Interesting find!

PS: When I asked them they said it was launched in last 2-3 weeks and NOT actively marketed yet as not national cover.

Tesco are using O2 for their broadband network, Tesco mobile is also a rebranded O2 product.

Worth a look though, might be a way out of Mr Murdoch's clutches.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Well it MIGHT be - guess would need more R&D to find out.

Anyway it's only a relatively small price differential if/when o2 Home Phone is ever launched, and it appears the Tesco Broadband support line is 9p/call + 5p/minute unless I overlooked the "it's free" in their details.

ie as I priced out over on ThinkBroadband:
    http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/o2/t/3816022-re-o2-home-phone-tesco-doing-phone20mbps-bb-packages.html

And if you can't get over 8Mbps (like the majority of households) it's likely cheaper with o2 Standard LLU anyway - ie if you want o2 home broadband (LLU!) then buy it from o2 via a £back site (and £50 mobile credit from o2 on o2 Premium/Pro) whereas can't notice any £backs on this Tesco bundle.

I was with Tiscali who I was more than happy with for my broadband and landline but since the take over by talktalk I'm desperate to move. Anyone Know if I can swap to this Tesco deal as it looks better than my present one. Only problem is I've been told it's difficult to get away from talktalk (I haven't agreed a new package with TT since they took over tiscali just continued with the old package). One of the reasons I'm not happy with TT is my internet rate seems to be varying from 1.8 mgs to 4.8 and sometimes it drops out altogether.
    Any advice gratefully recieved,

    MM
