I dont actaully have gmail. What would happen if you forward the email to this guys email address? Surely they would be able to get it form that.

Try posting a message in the Techie forum on this site - they maybe able to tell you how to find the properties section in gmail - or how to do it anyway!

Now that it has got to this stage with your buyer (i.e he's being abusive) I wouldn't communicate with him anymore in any way, shape or form. Keep ALL correspondence from him but ignore him completely. Don't let him goad you into replying.

Thanks shelly, i havent replied to him since the first email where i told him that i would be reporting him to ebay and not to contact me anymore as i said above though this doesnt seem to have detterred (sp?) him in anyway.

Ebay seems to be full of idiots like this and no matter what i always end up with one with each lot of stuff i list :( Though at the same time i have to remember that i have lots of people that rae very happy and do keep coming back and buying more so i cant be doing too bad ;)

Wow, imagine the reaction if you'd negged him.

Some people need to get out more.

  • OK, How to view headers on Gmail.

    1: Click on the email.

    2: Click on More Options

3: Click on Show Original (in blue, below the Subject line).

That will pop up another window the the entire email, including headers. Copy and paste it to Ebay. Do this for each email he has sent you.

Neg him then block him from bidding (you could wait up to 90 days then maybe his feedback for you will have dropped off page 1 of the feedback so any follow up comment he makes will hardly be noticed)

We shouldnt have to deal with people like this........

His original note with the cheque was not appropriate

His comment re feedback did read as a threat (intended or not)

His feedback comment is petty and also not appropriate.

Why let him off with a neutral? We are too soft on idiots like this.
  • I'd neg him for being abusive.

    To block particular bidders: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/block_bidders.html

Don't reply to him any more, and block his messages from your gmail if you can (I don't know if this is posible, but somebody will know). Unfortunately you can't block him from your ebay messages, but you can delete without reading them.

Best of luck with the baby! Sometimes I wish I feel a bit broody, then I look at my four kids (three teenagers and one almost teenage) and my two stepchildren (both teenagers) and I stop feeling broody!! lol

Thanks all, tbh i wish i had waited before giving him a neutral after everything he has said to me now i without a doubt feel that he does deserve a negative. Others shouldnt have to deal with the abuse this prat has given me.
Im at the moment debating whether to leave a follow up on his feedback stating that he has become abusive and that i have reported him to ebay but im unsure how to word it at the mo.....

Definatly about to add him to my blocked bidders list the last thing i want at the moment is him sabotaging any of my current auctions.
Just hoping that ebay will take it seriously and do something about it.
