Sold an item on the 19th July recieved payment from the seller in form of a cheque on the 22nd July, enclosed with the cheque was a note saying.
'Send Immediatly When Payment Recieved'
Didnt think anything more of it paid the cheque into the bank the day i got it, its not due to clear until monday.
Yesterday i had a message through my ebay
'dear seller pls confirm date & time of posting rsvp'
I replied stating that once his payment had cleared which would be on monday then i would send it out, have just had a reply saying
'dear seller,
this week's special offer - feedback.grade=excellent.... if i receive goods no later than saturday this week.
rsvp'
 should i be scared? :rotfl:

There is a place to report feedback blackmail, to ebay. It's a no no, do that and I think you'll be covered from getting any nasty feedback. You'll need to forward his email.

dont be bullied by threats of bad feedback, wait until the cheque clears.0 -

This guy sounds like a total idiot.
But... bear in mind that a bounced or cancelled cheque will cost him a lot in bank charges. If the cheque is for a small amount, it's not worth doing.
If we're talking hundreds, it's another matter! My TV is broken!

Out of curiosity, what's your buyer's feedback rating like?Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

Of course it may just have been his way of trying to gee up the delivery in a light hearted manner.
He hasn't actually suggested that he'll neg you if he doesn't get it.
If you payed it in on the 22nd (a Saturday), then if should surely clear by Friday in which case there's a chance he might receive the item by Saturday.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry. Just wait until the cheque does clear and then send.0 -
im not gonna send it til the cheque has cleared dont worry my OH keeps telling me to just send it but im not willing to risk it, not a major amount just over £50.
The way i saw the last message was as blackmail though he didnt say he would neg me not that im bothered if he does tbh, the auction stated po/bankers draft and he sent a cheque so therefore its his own fault for sending a cheque in the first place.
His feedback is 138 99.3% with 2 negs though the negs dont really say why he was negged.
Tbh i laughed when i read just by the way that he phrased it :rotfl:The Only Thing Men Can Do Right Is Get Everything Wrong

I would reply, " dear slightly annoying buyer, going special this week is the chance to redeem yourself and not end up with a neg for harrassing your seller who quite clearly stated the item would be posted when payment has been cleared "
im sure he didnt mean it as nasty as it comes across, I had a buyer who waited 3 days before posting payment (PO) then enclosed a "please post promptly" note. I shrugged this off but when she then sent me an email on the day she received it saying she paid promptly the least I could do was leave her positive feedback as she was nice enough to do it for me, i was sooo tempted to neg her but in the end i just left a basic message with a positive.

i sent the item yesterday as i had a feeling that i wouldnt be about today to do so (couldnt have been more right my waters broke this morning am just about to leave for the hospital  ) i sent it by recorded delivery at extra cost to me as i just had a feeling he was gonna cause me problems so wanted to cover myself.
Have just checked ebay before leaving - help i think im addicted :rotfl:
and he has left me positive feedback but said this
Satisfactory - But OverChargedBy£1.42OnPP. CostOfPostalOrderExtraCostAlso
I am bloody fuming!!! Does he think bubble wrap, brown paper, sellotape, labels, the ink in my bloody pen!, my time, cost of going to the post office is all for free? Bloody cheek of him!
I am still yet to leave feedback and its probably best i dont do it now but any suggestions as to what to put would be greatly recieved!
Also can someone tell me how i respond to my feedback that has been left? I had a look but couldnt find anyway to do itThe Only Thing Men Can Do Right Is Get Everything Wrong
