By this stage my daffodils are usually up closely followed by tulips but at the min my tulips aren't even out of the ground, the daffs are half up but no sign of bloom yet, is it just mine?

No not just you.
We have had a very cold winter hence them being late and mine are similar to yours. Probably even smaller than that.
Most people seem to think we are 2-3 weeks later than normal0 -
4 weeks behind in some places0

i saw some daff leaves but nothing else. I'm bored of this weather.0

But look on the bright side, our snowdrops are still in their prime when they are usually long gone by now.The only thing that is constant is change.0

And surely they are 'on time' this year as in previous years they have been early! Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Not just yours. Mine are waiting for the right weather and soil temperature. You could say they are in perfect timing with the weather but late according to the calendar. No longer half of Optimisticpair

I was talking to a florist yesterday who said everything is a few weeks behind - which is good news for me as it means we'll hopefully be able to have daffodils for our wedding in April!Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0

Yeah think its all a bit behind as well, we didn't get the first frost here until December 1st!
Having Dahlias in flower still at the end of November was quite strange.
Still we wont have to wait much longer for the yellow0 -
Yes, they are, because of the long cold spell we've had.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
Before I found wisdom, I became old.0 -
