I've had the same call, saying my warranty was about to run out (I've actually had Sky for 5 years now and never paid for the extra cover). He said i could either pay monthly or a year up front to extend my warranty.
When I said,"that's strange as I've never taken out Sky's extended warranty", he just hung up.0 -
Technically they could be breaking the law by initially claiming to be calling from Sky - passing off is probably the nearest my limited knowledge gets to?
I've had about 4 calls over the past 2 years, question is where do they get the number from? We're TPS registered so in theory they should not be calling us as we're on a no call list which all reputable companies would check before each campaign?
