I mean to try and cure the fault they try a temp sensor first and if not cured next they try a camshaft sensor, then a fuel pump and so on. The down side of this is that you will have to pay for these parts whether faulty or not. To be honest it's highly unlikely that 2 sensors, a fuel pump and a wiring harness all fail at the same time.

Don't you just love the scattergun approach when it's your money they are gambling :T:mad:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    Moi??

I'd never let a tailgater go down a pothole. I'd stop, get out of my car & warn them it was ahead. ;)

  • Sounds like it might have kinked the return line back to the tank from the fuel pressure regulator. This would cause it to flood after a short while and log a few faults. It would also look to someone who didn't know better like a fuel pump problem. Is it fixed now? Far be it for me to suggest it was that but only noticed after changing a few bits and still having problems.
