I'm not really sure but will bump you up - I think (and some who knows better will put us right) that it is just your finances but as you live together they will need to know what she contribututes? Is that right??

I know it really does feel like a rollercoster up and down all the time but good luck

Yeah I dont mind them knowing her wages , but just want them asking her to fill endless forms out and things like that. As its all my debt and my problems , just dont want her feeling any pressure or stress if you get what I mean.
  • All the debt is from before we got together aswell.

If when I become BR and during that period I got the money to pay my entire debt , Could the BR be reversed?
I think it would be possible. I'm not sure though. It's better if you'll consult this to someone who has more knowledge of the subject. Good luck to you. :)

Yep I understand totally as I feel the same - as I said I think they will only be interested in her contributions - not sure what proof they need etc but someone will let us know soon I'm sure.

Try not to worry too much

Yeah ive just found out that the BR can be reversed if you pay the debt off in full.

I will book my appointment again soon with the CAB as they can start the ball rolling for me.

I did find CAB really helpful, at least you can sit down face to face with someone to go through everything.

and if you can't at any time get to CAB I also had really great help from National Debthelplne and of course you have here too.

I have phoned the national debt helpline before and I didnt find it that usefull. I would rather use the CAB , because as you said , you're face to face with someone.

Ive just added up all my debt and it comes to £33,126

Of which , I dont actually owe the following

    3g - £361
    Vodafone - £78
    Vodafone - £462

The rest of the debt I do owe

I just cant bare the thought of going bankrupt , it just doesnt seem right but I know I have to do it , I really have no other choice.

    Hi Feeling_worried

I'd hate for you to have to pay something that you don't owe.

I'd really like to take a look at this to see if there is anything I can do. Send me an email from here with WRT135 in the subject line and a link to your thread and I'll do all I can to help.

    All the best
