Is there ways I can improve my chances of gettig discharged at 6 months? or is it just luck of the draw?0

Ok , well I have cancelled my CAB appointment today so I can sit down and get all my paperwork together properly over the next few days without feeling rushed. Gives me more time to read up abit more aswell , I didnt want to sit in the CAB today and go through everything with someone as I feel rushed as it is as I dont even have all my paperwork together and only found out saturday who I exactly owe what to , from looking at my credit rating.
Looking to get everything together and put it in a file and then re-book my appointment and sit and show everything to the CAB so its all laid out nicely and easy to understand. Me doing this will probably save alot of time and confusion and I will be prepared.
Any pointers of what I should be doing would be appreciated
At the moment I will be getting together each debt and how much I owe each one and putting them together with letters and the credit agreements and then work out my in coming money and outgoing money.0 -
Hi FW, I don't know if the others agree but it might help to post your SOA up here so people can give you advice, I know it helped me greatly.
I did also find the CAB a great help as they acutally offered to write to all my creditors for me, so it may be sill worth a visit to them.
Good luck and don't worry we all know how it feels to be in similar situations so you are not alone.

One more thing I will say
I already feel happier and feel like the stress of it all has eased greatly , just by knowing I am going to go BR. Can finally look forward without the thought of debt looming or what the next letter or phone call will be.0 -
A few days with the thought of going BR and I think I am now 100% liking the idea , Thought I would just take a couple of days and plant the thought of going BR in my head and see how I feel. I have had no worries of debt and have felt pretty good about it all.
So its 100% definate that I will be going BR , just need to set the ball rolling now and have also got the fee to go BR aswell.0 -
If when I become BR and during that period I got the money to pay my entire debt , Could the BR be reversed?0

Wishing you all the best of luck.
