Update for everyone: After our horrible couple of weeks, hubby has a job interview in the morning so fingers crossed xxxxxxx
Appeal date for job set for Wednesday. Still doing ok with the debts, all coming down bit by bit. Hardly spent a penny this last week other than essentials like school uniform and food.Official DFW Nerd #148

Yes, it went really well for him :j
They have said he can start when he wants, but given that his appeal is on Wednesday it would probably be better to get that out of the way first because there is a week long induction to do. So if he doesn't win his appeal, he has a job to start on the following week :T
It is less money, and he will have to travel, but it is still better than nothing. Will slip us back under the threshold for WTC as well, so that mean prescriptions etc exempt again.
I feel loads better now we have a fall-back plan :beer:Official DFW Nerd #148

Excellent news looby! That must be such a weight off.
What will he do if he is reinstated on appeal? Would he go back? I guess the main thing for him now will be getting his name cleared and his reputation restored. I'm not sure I could go back to work somewhere that treated me badly.Saving for an early retirement!0 -
He says it depends how the appeal goes, and how they were with him whether he would go back or not. We shall see .....Official DFW Nerd #148
