account hacked

I want to make people in this area of mse (as i use these threads a lot) aware that in the last few days, I believe my account has been accessed by someone other than me, and some details altered. I have now changed my password, but if anyone has read anything in the last couple of days from "me" then to dismiss it.

i will however continue to post from now with my new password.
I have lost my pregnancy counter for the time being, my T+ affiliation message, my private message inbox has lost my saved messages and my number of posts has dropped. I dont believe its all to do with the upgrade on the site (but it could be)??? If anything like this has happened to you, let me know. Thanks

There have been quite a few problems re sigs, post count, and private messages since the upgrade of the forums. I suspect the problems that you have seen may have been due to this. For a while there I was called 'jon'

you haven't made any posts since the 16th until today so I think as rchddap1 says, it's just the upgrade affecting peoples details/pm's etc

I think that it may just be because of the upgrade as I lost over 100 posts and ended up with someone elses signature.

It is very confusing but try not to let it get to you and good luck

Lots of people are having the same problem

It is not down to someone accessing your account, but in the changeover signatures were moved to different people and no-one sure why yet

If you go to userCP and edit signature you can change it



Post counts have dropped because last month the team removed 150,000 old posts and archived them, this did not affect post count on old site but has made a difference on the new one

I have just managed to change the strange signature that I got so that I feel a bit happier.

ok, I just got the confirmation that it is a glitch and not a hacker. I just thought it best to ask everyone in case it was. I would have thought that this sort of glitch that effects everyone would have been made clear on the homepage! Had me worried for a minute there!!! LOL

Cant get my tickercentral signature back though.

All this fuss about post counts.....

One thing Martin missed was getting rid of them because they mean nothing yet everyone seems concerned about them.

Where is Mr Shilling. He is the King of the post count
