Hmmm - wonder if I put up a 'would like to garden' notice in a local shop if someone would let me look after theirs

wouldnt hurt and if you put up that your charge for it would be them allowing you to have you 'own' veg patch in ther garden it could be win win, also do you have and older neighbours you could pop around to and see if they would be interested in that sort of deal?

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

yes i agree with you its like fighting a losing battle here too, both boys bedrooms are pistys again :( they come in and dump their stuff.

mind you they were in good moods yesterday ben Ds1 (16) when he came in from school finished washing windows and washed pvc down in dining room and ds2 (12) got on a chair and dusted and rearranged top shelf in the living room.

right i'm going to have another crack at it and find something for tea

Dh still not home so looks like hes not finishing early :(

Ive just found some cheap allotment raised beds...so excited as they are all pre-drilled and cut to right lengths. 1.8m x2.4m for £32 bargain!

Talking of growing stuff....anyone know when I should plant me butternut squash seeds for starting off in the conservatory?
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Have fun sally, it's been raining steadily here all morning :(

Sun seems to be breaking through now though :)
My washing and drying are in, I've made a new parkrun playlist for my ipod.
I've got 2 chicken breasts marinating in korma sauce for later and am cooking meatballs in spicy tomato and paprika sauce in the slow cooker for hubbles and son, Jess will probably demand the usual - mash & gravy, jam sandwiches or pancakes!

  • My friend at my new job (my neighbour-and for those of you at my b-day party, Di-the tall gorgeous black lady)has called me and is trying to get me to come to a hen weekend with all the girls from my NEW job! Its next weekend in Blackpool and will cost £100. Which I dont have sadly. She has offered to pay but I have said no, would love to go but think its too much to ask!

All the girls in the office are so nice!
