***Bursts in crying.
I was so looking forward to Hubbles being back at 3 on Sunday but he's just forwarded his flight details - he gets into LONDON at 3.25pm but won't be in Glasgow until 6.50pm. It's only 3 more hours but I am totally devastated!:(:(:(

I think I probably have a 'before' pic somewhere Claire. I will have a look.
Bit of everything to start with I think Squizz, and will just see what grows well in my soil, what drainage is like, and what the kids enjoy picking and eating. I have some courgette and pumpkin plants that I started in my propagator, and are currently dotted around the windowsills of the whole house! Also have various packets of seeds ready to go in, but haven't any more room unless I buy a cold frame so I can start some more things off. May well do that anyway, as would love to grow tomatoes, and have LOTS of little chilli plants that are already about 4 inches tall. I have a strawberry patch and a herb garden already, so it will be mainly vegetables in the new bed. Would quite like to grow a mixture of peas and sweet peas on trellises up the fence too, because Natasha will think they are pretty, and might actually start to like peas then!
Sounds fantastic! I'm trying peas for the first time this year - am very excited about them - and the parsnips.. sad aren't I? :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Ohh Luc :grouphug: any delay is torture when you can't wait for them to be back home. Can you see a friend or do something else to pass the time a bit so you're not just counting the hours?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hugs Luc...can you arrange to do something for those 3 hours? Or could you go down to meet him and then travel back together?I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Yum, parsnips - I think they are one of the packets I have got. I really hope something grows!
Not sad at all (well, only as sad as me, anyway!).

I'll probably be glad of the extra hours to finish tidying (change bedding etc) and make a nice dinner for him. I still plan to take Nathan up to the airport to meet him though. He won't expect that so close to N's bedtime;)
Sorry Sal - you must have posted while I was typing! Airport is about 10mins on the bus from here so not a big journey...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Squizz, I found Peas soooo easy to grow, chuck peas in ground, bit of water and leave...3 weeks later stick pea sticks in for them to grow up and voila rows and rows of lovely fresh peas

Claire - glad to hear yuo're taking things steady.
Snaggles - I'm exhaused just reading about what you've done.
My mum's made my morning, she's just sent me a picture message of a Radley messenger bag that's come into her shop and if I like it it's mine. I'll giving her £10 for that tomorrow.
