o2 Broadband was a good choice!!

You're on 02 Access (non LLU service) and happy with it? You must be the only customer in the UK who is!
Think you're confused again macman - a £17.50/m sub on o2 can be EITHER the discounted o2 Access rate or the discounted o2 Pro rate.
Based on the Quidco at £120, it is going to be o2 Pro, an ADSL2+ Annex M service offering up to 24Mbps down and 2.5Mbps up that they are on and not o2 Access (the "runt of the litter" package).
And based on a quoted £17.50 (ie enjoying an o2 mobile discount) and £120 £back - that's just a net £7.50/m over their 12m+ commitment so no wonder they report they are happy :T0 -
I've blagged o2 Premium £10 month under the 30 day happiness guarantee. My BB overview now says up to 20mbps
I should get the £50 mobile phone credit within 60 days, (30 days happiness / 30 day admin)
Today on my account package upgrade portal it said I could get up to 16mbps before I phoned up today. It is a bit of a mystic meg on sign up though!!!0 -

Well done. The real o2 Premium sub limit is 24Mbps down not 20Mbps - ie it is UNCAPPED to the full technical potential of ADSL2+ Annex A - for some reason o2 have always "undermarketed". That said you're too far away to get any benefit from that 4Mbps extra headroom - but guess you are one happy o2 Premium bunny this afternoon getting c15Mbps service for less nett (for now) than you thought you'd be paying for upto 8Mbps service, which you thought was a good deal anyway. Always good to see some GOOD news on these forums, not just moans (valid or otherwise). :T

I've been with 02 since Jan. of this year, and the service has been absolutely fantastic :T
I'm on their 'Premium' package (up to 20 meg), and on average, I'm getting over 17 meg (all for a tenner a month)0 -

One final tip: If in a few months time (eg say when you have got the £50 mobile credit safely credited to your o2 mobile) you think ... mmmm. I don't really NEED that extra 6.5Mbps and could get by with "just" 8Mbps down (with loads of 'safety margin' to keep it stable, as technically your line can do that 14.5) then you'll find the online Change your package will probably let you save the £2.50/m and downgrade (almost certainly will by the 6month stage) ... and if at that time they are offering say 3m free it may even offer you that incentive too (though usually that only comes with taking on a fresh 12m+ commitment).
Enjoy! (which I do with my 4.1Mbps o2 Standard after all other ISPs were far far worse/slower/costlier, hence my motivation to expose o2 to others)

£back referral sites: get £50 Standard, £60 Premium, £70 Pro
Then o2 offer: 3 months free
So can be as little as £1.50/month net over the first year!
