Well each to their own.
Still don't know why there is a price difference the the silver and gold users ?, is it for "Brand new customers only" ? <

No it's for those who can be bothered to discuss pricing with them i.e. would they rather lose a customer or reduce the payments to a figure that you are happy to pay, as it's getting a more and more competitive market. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

I agree, customer service is very poor though.
I negociated my contract with them to get it cheaper, good idea 2 months before you contract expires is to haggle.
Customer services I don't use them more than 2 times per year and I only connect to the operators in Eire or Scotland.

Yeah phone them and say as your contract is coming to an end you want a better price and faster connection (if the speed is possible of course).0 -
I'm 9months into my contract for gold broadband, last week I received a letter from Sky offering me the same for £17 I rang customer services explained about the letter and asked what could they do to make AOL more interesting. I now have Gold for £19.99 per month and a wireless router. Ask and you will receive once my contact is up I will be expecting an even cheaper serviceSuicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.0
