Hi, Tesco Photo Centre have the half price photo posters again. If you go for the largest size which is 36"x24" it is reduced from £13.97 to £6.98 and if you have not ordered before and go through quidco you can get £3 back in cash back. Which means you get a 34x24" poster for £3.98.

Not sure if it helps x

Also, I have just found that National Geographical are doing print your own poster. This is what it says:

Picture this: Now full-color posters of National Geographic's classic photography are yours for the taking.

Just pick a poster below and download it. Then print, assemble—and watch your walls go wild!

It works by printing out 9 a4 pages and then you put them together. But you have to go with their pictures.
    Here is link:

If you wanted something different you can use this website which turns any picture into a poster and again you print it out on a4 pages and put them together. You would notice if you were close to the picture but from a slight distance it would look great.
And it goes to huge sizes to in fact the largest is 10 pages wide which it says would be approx 7ft wide by 5ft on the piture I just tried which would possibly cover my whole wall lol

Hi, Don't know if this will help but I've just had a 28 inch x 40 inch print done by a German firm on ebay.
Their website has examples of pictures they can do (including sunsets etc) but I had one of my own pictures put onto a large canvas which is stretched over a frame (a sunset on a Californian beach where we used to live).
I've added the item number at the bottom here, just go on ebay and put this number in the search box. This item has obviously ended but you can see what else they do and see if anything suits.
I paid £35 and that included shipping from Germany to the UK (having a library picture rather than supplying an original would be cheaper I assume). Picture arrived a few days later and I'm very pleased with it.

    ebay item no.

  • Easy way to find large images is to search google images with advanced options.

    - type "sunset" on google
    - click Images in top left corner
    - click Show options
    - in the left option sidebar click Larger than
    - and select 12 MP or larger/smaller if you need
    - then after finding image you like click on it and click See full size image
    - you can then right-click and save image on your desktop

This should give you some good quality images to print large scale.

    Click below for some examples:
    Click1 Click2 Click3

You can then order the image you like with one of many printing companies. See example of large canvas prints here

If you are concerned about the rights you can always ask the owner of website for permission to print their photo they will usually be happy to give you permission as long as you're not reselling and making profit of their work.

    Hope that helps

Hi. I have been looking into this for ages and not got anywhere! Hope someone can help. I want to buy a large (40ins x 40ins or bigger) approx picture for my dining room. I am having trouble finding anything bigger than 30 x 24. I would love a really beautiful sunset. I dont mind if its a poster which I could get framed or if it is a print or large photo. I have seen a few pictures I like but cant find anywhere that would make them as big as I would like. Any advice appreciated.

Matalan do large canvas prints for good prices. I got a massive NY one of Brooklyn Bridge for £10 in the sale, at least 30"x40".
