    Hi everyone!

I have joined this forum only for this thread lol

I have just become a avon lady, signed up on wednesday and have already got a order of £67 which is pretty good for one day of work. i have 4 streets as my territory but my problem is im awfully shy. Just turned 18 on tuesday i know it was a quick jump to avon but i look really young, my Sl said i look 15, this kind of scaires me because i think people will not take me seriously! soo i was wondering if i should just post my avon books or knock and ask people?

My mum asked a few women on one of the roads im assigned one flat out refused and other was a maybe?

    Thanx xXx

    Hi babysonia

what you could do to start with, is make a little introductory leaflet to go in with your books, "Hi, I am your local Avon Representative - my name is .... etc", put this at the front with your book, so it can be clearly seen in the bag, and then post them.

Once you have collected a few books and made some orders, once you start delivering your orders, your confidence will build. You will find it easier to door knock if you choose to.

    Good luck.

    Hi everyone.

Haven't been attached to my computer like usual over the last couple of weeks due to hurting my back but have now caught up.

Congrats Aureol on your first week at work, sounds like you have made a great impression and I hope you are enjoying it.

MC Good luck with the party tonight the picture looked awesome and you are obviously super organised.

I have had my OH doing all things Avon and he has been a real star - making deliveries and putting out brochures. I received my 3rd lot of territory (the other 2 already had reps). My OH has delivered and collected over 100 brochures and how many orders do you think we have received??........a grand total of 1 for £15!!!!! To say I am demotivated is an understatement!!! I am lucky that I have a good ordering bunch of F&F but I am thinking Avon is not very well received in my area!!!!

On a different note, I was inputting a few orders last night (I'm on C7) and I noticed that I could still order from HT7. My customers have ordered a couple of things that were demo in HT7 and thought I would have a go. They are showing on my order and on the subtotal page. Do you think this is ok??

hi, I have a creative ordering question and apologies if it seems bit of a dim one. :o

Does the extra bit of money that you can make by creative ordering have be used / offset against other Avon items or is the 'profit' yours to do whatever you want with? (Does this make sense?) So if a product was £12 in the brochure the customer saw but I could back order it at £8 would the £4 then be mine to do what I wanted with?

Like I said I'm still lurking but want to get everything sorted for when I do actually start.

Good luck with your party tonight aureol fingers crossed it goes well for you.

Its yours to do what you want with.......anything above the total invoice amount you have to pay Avon is your earnings.

    Hope this helps

Mmmmm that Liz Earle thing sounds good. From reading the press release on the website it sounds like they are on about running it stand alone and not incorporating the products in the Avon brochure?? But even if it is a separate brochure, its still a great opportunity - Liz Earle products have a great reputation and I can't see why we wouldn't be able to shift a few of them.

Lets hope they are in HT as demo prodcts first, eh? !!

But then I might have misunderstood the whole thing. I'm not very good at reading these press release things - I tend to read the first 2 lines and then skim read the rest!!!

I didn't realise you could order the brochures 3 campaigns ahead. Do any of you do this? I was going to order 4 packs of 8, 9 and 10 with this order then I don't have to think about it on the next one. I've already got 1 pack of C8s but am planning on running 7 and 8 together next, plus expecting to lose a few as I move on to the rest of my territory.

You can provided you're not a Trendsetter, the brochures simply aren't printed that far ahead at that point.
