Also, if things do turn out to be OOS when my order arrives, is it usual to just tell the customer you will order it in the next campaign for them or just give them a refund?

avon will send it in your next order, you dont need to reorder, I just put a note to cumstomer saying '...is out of stock and will be delivered when available sorry' then if you ask for it to be sent immediatley they may not have to wait till the next campaign

    Hello ladies
Im a newbie thanks to the help of aureol for putting me in touch with my SL, so anyways ive done quite well with F&F (£100 so far) but ive picked up my 1st lot of books from territory today and ended up with 1 order for £8 so im feeling a bit deflated after a good start, just wondered roughly how many custs I should expect in my 1st campaign???? I dropped about 20 books and from that got 1 order, does that sound normal for the 1st time? I did stuff and run, I dont feel confident enough yet to knock but the people I have spoke to have been nice enough and just said they were not interested in having any more books!!!!!!! Ive now dropped another 30 odd books so im hoping things pick up

Hi gempink, I am a newbie this campaign too and I am pretty much reflecting what is happening to you. My first drop got me only 1 order and that was out of 30 books. I did sus that most of the people on this road were "very" old though and so decided to drop in a different part of my territory. Got 4 orders from 20 books delivered and 1 more wants to keep hold of the book as has not had a chance to browse properly but knows she wants to order :j Am going to focus on this area now so dropped 30 more books there yesterday to pick up Sunday and then am hoping I may squeeze one more in before last order date on Tuesday (will be tight though!!!). So yep, to me it sounds like we are doing pretty average for a first time campaign :) Don't lose faith and just keep smiling at everyone. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

    hello all,
im trying to fill out my tax return for my avon online but struggling wonder if one of you kind ladies could help me out. ive worked out on paper what ive earned in commission, my expenses, total cost charged by avon, and my cost, but when i go online am i right in saying that i have to put in the avon cost to me not my commision for the total turnover box. because if this is the case when i enter my expenses total it looks like i have made a lot of profit when i havent but i cant see where i enter any other figures. hope someone can help as im worried im goint to make a right hash of it. thankyou
  • I am in the process of inputting all of my orders on the site and happened to notice that although the summary order section (last tab) is showing the "Eyeshadow Palette Tempting Twilight" which is the one that has been ordered, when I go to the Subtotal page it is showing the "Eyeshadow Palette Pastel Passion!!! It has even changed the code from 18424 to 04572. I have definitely input it correctly, and it is the only one I have ordered. I have even deleted it and tried again but the same thing is happening. Which one do you think I am going to get sent?

Turnover = total sales. What your customers have paid you and any items you order for your personal use.

This is the stock you have 'turned over' during that financial year.

Although, quite bizarrely, they say to allow 6 weeks for delivery?!

It always says that in small print in the brochures when they do a spend x amount and buy branded watch / bag for x amount. You usually find they'll turn up in the campaign you order them, depends how popular they are. I did fine for the morgan watches & antler bags this year, but last year the watches & bags were delayed. So they seem to be improving their stocks.

thanks for your reply, think im being a little dense here but even if i enter figure for what customers have paid me when i minus my expenses it would read that i have made about £700 profit. but i have only made around around £140 commision (only started campaign 18) so surely then i would be paying more tax than i actually made. hope that makes sense and you could advise me some more. thankyou
  • Hi All-I can't seem to figure out the anew freebie. Ive got a customer who has ordered 2 £5 anew items and one anew item at £15. What is the freebie she can have? What value? Which pages? The more I look the less sense it makes! She is over 50 and Ive chatted to her and said I "think" you will get a freebie as she hadnt put it down as she couldnt make sense of it either. Told her I would find out so here we go! Can you tell me which you would recommend for her please?
