  • Hey Guys!

Sounds like very confusing grounds on all the territory issues, hope they get sorted for you and don't cause you too much stress.

I've finally gotten my printer from my parents house, so just about to hook it up and hope it works...going to London on thursday for 2 days, so trying to figure out when I should deliver my next lot of books because I'm working til 9 on wednesday and I don't really want to deliver them tomorrow and not collect them til Saturday evening....i'll have to leave them for now I think!

Thanks for the advice on the products. I think I might have to get some of the cherry products and the 2 in 1 foot scrub. I think I might have a practice with some of my friends first and see how it goes. If I have done the demonstration once before and got all the mistakes out of the way, I will feel a lot happier when doing it in front of a load of strangers.

At our regular Avon call-in's they suggested asking people to bring a washing up bowl to use for the foot soak, and a towel (saves any hygiene issues). In any case, it will intrigue people as to why they have to bring their own bowl to a party and may well help to break the ice :D

The way they did it there was to fill each bowl with warm water then put some marbles in the bottom of each - you rub your feet on the marbles as a foot massage. You can then pass round the tubes of various products for people to try.

  • Right, just back from my run, gonna have a quick shower and then out to drop off round 2 of books (and pick up the strays from yesterday). Going to try the local flats today to see if they are any better. Wish me luck :D

  • Yay, I have my first non F&F order :j Picked up from on my road. Have dropped to the flats now so will wait and see how that pans out.

Quick question. Do you have a separate mobile number for your Avon stuff? I have just been giving out my personal mobile but have just been thinking that giving that to everyone, is it such a good idea? Also, when you answer your mobile, do you say Avon, or have your answerphone message saying Avon?

    Thanks in advance

Going to go off and enjoy the sun now. Have a good day all. :D

  • ok so this is my worst campaign for things going wrong.

I have the wrong size flipflops delivered.

and i ordered the alisha necklace instead of braclet.

With swaps like these do i need to return them first before i get a replacement or can i order them and then return later.

Also i have never done a return so any help would be gratefully rec!

    Thanks

Don't worry - we all found it confusing at first!

As they are from your most recent campaign, you should be able to do a straight replacement. Go into the Avon website, then click 'my orders' - you will see the options for credits or replacements. You can do it without needing to return the items first.

To do an immediate replacement, fill in the details of the item you want to replace, then what you want to replace with (same again if it's faulty, or another item if not). Click the 'send to Avon' option. It offers the option for immediate replacement fairly late in the procedure, click it when it appears.

You then need to do a returns form - it will offer the option to print one. Fill in the necessary details of the items you are returning, then put in the barcode number from any one of the labels you have received with previous orders (you just need the last four digits). That will produce 2 forms which you can print out. One goes in the box and one is to be signed for by the courier when he collects. Tape the barcode to the box or bag you are returning - you must leave the barcode itself uncovered.

I've done this from memory, so just let me know if I've missed anything or not made it clear ;)
