inaminute - make sure she is ordering the ordinary bottle, not the pink one which is soft and sensual - as this has no effect at all.

Well I did a T1 this morning, and the betterware lady has been seen. Just a coincidence that the asm was with me. To be honest, she has signed up but i get the distinct feeling that when she delivers betterware, she will be returning my books back. She said that she is concerned about the available 'ongoing training and support' offered by avon, asm and myself.

Bettereware dont even speak to her anymore. What can I say to that?
I explained that she will be invited to regular meetings where training will be offered, regular calls and texts from both myself and asm (once a camp as min) and if she doesnt want to talk to us, or attend meetings thats fine, but they highlight new products and cross selling etc.

Hmmmmmmmm. Me thinks that she is happy walking the streets for no money. She has received only 2 orders from my village in total. I get 25-30 every 3 weeks. Betterware is every 6 weeks. To me its a no brainer and asm mentioned that she has converted 3 betterware reps in the area to Avon only. As the return is higher. How often do you replace your mop and bucket?

I just dont know what is with some people.
:T wealth is a state of mind :T

I don't think that is very fair lucyclare. Betterware works for some people where Avon does not. And I have heard of elderly and housebound people being regular buyers of betterware and kleeneze. Some for the chance to talk to someone on their doorstep, it might be the only contact they get for a while, others as they are unable to leave the house, so this is a good opportunity for them to buy what they need.

I personally don't always make money from Avon, and that is canvassing my territory and my regular customers. Where I live, we have reps on nearly every road, so there isn't much scope for more territory and recruitment, and with this many reps, potential customers may already be buying from somewhere else.

    Hi all,

Have had a couple of orders from the flyer and thought I'd be organised and put the in the system early (only at start of C9). Checked the subtotal and no commision!! Is that right?

@Johanne, how are you feeling? Hope your lots better.

Yes, its right. The first 78 pounds is without commision. They call this minimum order value (MOV).
After that its 20% and orders over 148 (HOV) earn 25%.

AFAIA, everyone who earns any money whether it's regular or not has to be registered for tax. Even if you end up not paying tax you still have to tell them about it.
See, I was told similar and just realised it was 3 months since i joined and quickly phoned them.

Its bad that people try to put you off registering properly. :/

Don't worry - until you've entered at least £78 worth online it won't show your discount. Once you've entered that amount when you check your subtotal it will show our discount, you'll get the discount of all your products ordered from the brochures (apart from fixed discount items - ie anything not manufactured by Avon).
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

LOL!!! Think I must have been VERY tired last night. I can't believe I didn't even think about the fact I hadn't reached MOV, never mind HOV.....also think I was a little paranoid about the smart womans flyer so instead of thinking it through I just jumped to conclusions!!

Thanks so much JulieJesta and lozza for setting my mind at rest, was having a true 'blonde moment'!

I am on my third campaign and yet to register as self-employed, I definatley will be doing, it doesn't mean I will have to pay anything as its unlikely I will earn enough, especially after all of my expenses!

What is this flyer?? Have I missed something? :o

Picked up some remaining books this morning, in the pouring rain. One house must of had at least 3 notes asking them to leave my book outside, and today they did but they'd taken my nice plastic bag and replaced it with a cr*p small sandwich bag!! So we all know what bag they will get their campaign 9 brochure in don't we :D:D (evil laugh) honestly what is it with some people they have to steal plastic bags???
