I bet that article was vetted before Guy posted it
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. ILW, legal cases on such matters can be very costly and it wouldn't be surprising to decide that it's not a good use of money compared to the other ways that money can be used. Clearly legal advice on the matter was taken so it wasn't some casual decision but rather a carefully considered one.
We can assume that the same care has been used in what's around today in the news posting because that has a higher risk level, coming as it does directly from an employee.
The site can discourage the use of claims companies in other ways, and did so.0 -
Can somebody explain to me why other FORUMS can get away with saying what they want about said subject and are not shut down? Some even publishing hhe private address of Directors etc.:mad:0

A place that is normally top in Google search results would be a lot more attractive than one that is not. That's particularly so for ongoing businesses that may want to try to prevent their prospective customers from reading such things, so might go after the prominent places to try to achieve that objective.0

They are being threatened with Legal Action Maxdp over at "that" site but they are obviously not bothered as such!! As regards posting address's of directors on site then if the address's are on company documents (assets perhaps - i have no idea) then these are allowed I would think as they are like a business address and we post lots of address's on here and sometimes companies can actually operate from home. (not saying the one in mention did). Can somebody explain to me why other FORUMS can get away with saying what they want about said subject and are not shut down? Some even publishing hhe private address of Directors etc.0 -
