Good evening all.
So much for my famous last words of this mornig saying that I wasn't as tired now - I'm shattered tonight :rotfl: A bath & early to bed I think. I may stay up for The Bill if I'm lucky!
Bargain Bird Your buffet sounds great - lots of variety and it'll hopefully appeal to everyone. Good luck doing it all
N9eav I love Mika ever since DH bought me a cd of his a couple of years ago. His songs are very catchy and I have to sing along :T Not heard of the others though

Evening everyone
I am it again my usual late evening posting. I feel extremley exhausted tonight so will try to get to bed before 11pm. I could quite easily just curl up and go to sleep but got to sort out DS2 who only goes to bed about 9.30pm unfortunately.
weather has been lovely here all day. Got my car washed by students for charity today, cost me £3 but they have done a fantastic job.Managed to get a free lunch today as some sandwiches and cakes were left over from a meeting. I even bought chicken curry for tea which had been made by the catering students, very yummy it was too:D.
Not much os today apart from a bit of ironing and washing up shortly. DS2 needs a bath so will battle to get him in it, if he had his choice he wouldn't wash:eek:.
Julie67 - good luck to your DD
Tired mum - Hope your DD got the results she wanted.
MMM - Thinking of you re your job situation. Hope you manage to sort out the issue of the other girl demanding of money from your DD.
Taplady - Hope your DS is okay.
Enjoy the rest of your evening. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

Evening all,
Don't seem to get on here until very late these days...trying to stay off in morning time as I tend to spend more time than I can afford through the day.
Very cold here still, nice bright days but wind would shave you.
Reverbe...I wondered about the wet ham sandwiches too??
Taplady...hugs to your DS
JackieO....do you think that Basil was out on the tiles and Mrs B had a go at him when he got home?
Julie...how did DD get on with test?
Wanted to have lamb chops to-day for dinner so went to local supermarket and they had all sorts of offers on....ended up getting 4 dinners of sirloin steak, 5 of chicken breast, 2 of pork chops and a large eye of the round roast all for €38.67...meat is very good there too, will see us out to end of month at least...OH gave me €20 towards it so very light on my GC! Included in money was also 4 nice large chops which we had with broccoli, onions and mash, lovely!
Have arranged re-test for car, 25th, need to get on to garage now to see if they will do it on 24th so that there won't be much time for things to go awry again!
Need to order oil to-morrow, we have just about enough to do us over the weekend if nobody goes mad with the heating....€.53c per litre I understand, will call my usual supplier in the morning and see if I can beat them down a bit on that. DS3 reckons that I should get a new condensing boiler ( whatever that is when its at home!) as boiler is now 16 years old...will look around and see what it would cost me, probably worth it if it saves on oil, half inclined to go for some kind of wood pellet boiler if it will do the heat properly (15 rads). We'll see, may all come to nothing.
Hugs to all in need or want and congratulations to those who are celebrating.
