I was wondering if you had anything else other than repeated one letter replies, or calling "teenagers" "spotty".

Now I'm sure you don't. For a grown parent to "spotty teenagers", your contributions are pretty limited, I would have thought their influence alone would have been incentive to understand more about the world? I have to say. Even Liam, whose contributions are pages long of whining, at least makes an effort. Still I guess you're far to tired to post on here. Oh wait.
All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.

Ah, playing God and creating a little vision to vent out his anger on.

Still, beats losing the family allowance playing online bingo I guess:rotfl:

Exactly what you are constantly doing on this thread. Seriously what is the point?

I think I've already outlayed my "issue" with the fact that you hypocritically like to stereotype and label benefits recipients as "scroungers".

Never done by me, just you inventing things to fit your current arguments.

I wasn't aware you wanted a full blown denial of your exceptionally dull vision of me you created.

But you feel the need for me to address all of your fantasies about me.

Another failing of yours is to understand fallacious questions.

    Very repetitive, and very boring.

I have no issue with you calling me "short with glasses".
I'm just amused you consider it an "insult". But then, I'm also amused you consider being "unemployed" an insult too.

You have taken it as an insult, they are merely my observations of what I believe you to be like.

Why do you now take it as an insult, to be described in the same light, as one of the people you have been defending?

I think it says more about you, than me:rotfl:

I wish you would think, at least before you post anyway.

If you cannot accept other peoples opinions on subjects or replies to questions you ask, here is a thought:

Why don't you give an answer to any question that is put to you, or give your own answer to any question you pose?

You are most certainly the only person with a valid opinion and the only person with a correct answer, be that even to a question which ultimately has no right or wrong answer.

My belief is, you would probably end up disagreeing with yourself and start another argument, with yourself.

Who also believes in a welfare state - well he's American and his opinions are based on his acclaimed greatest nation (USA).

    American welfare state includes
    • 5 year maximum claim
    • workfare
His words do compliment his country's welfare programme - not ours.

Deepmist of course just picks out the bits that suit him.

I always say, when you nothing about a subject it's probably best either to keep quiet and learn it, or forget it.

That particular (lack of) insight into Chomsky, is making me cringe on your behalf:rotfl:

Whereas you of course, haven't just spent the last week frantically posting demanding you're not a hypocrite. :rotfl:I love irony.

Your opinion may be 'valid' (the most pointless way to describe an opinion in itself), but that doesn't mean it can't be subject to criticism or even derided for the stupidity that you base it on.

Deepmistrust, could I suggest that you take a step back and look at how you are coming across in this thread? I am sure you have many valid points, but you are going round in circles and the only person that is making people cringe is yourself.
    Gone ... or have I?
