all the jobs on the search are like "party planner...

Aahhh....... but one to beat that job is the 'Sandwich Artist' which appears quite regularly ..........I just cannot think why .

BTW ..That job is in Subway!

And what about the 'Grass Technician'? Oh yes...this is true, although I suspect no explanation required for that one although I suspect you will need to be a 'cut' above the others to get that job!

I am sure there are many more jobs with enhanced titles.

its crazy that the JS number is 0845
to walk to my nearest job centre would be a good 45+ minutes walk
especially if you phone and they give an email address to send
why not just have it linkable on the site?
they can have a contact form if employers dont want their email address accessible online

or why not just have an email address for the employer or an email address for the job centre and you send an email with the job ref number and ask for the details how to apply

the 'old' search was far better, imo.. not perfect in any sense mind!

do you mean the job centre 1, that was also poor as you would still get jobs outside of the chosen distance

well if the employer is supplying an email then its very easy to have a contact us form on the JS website to allow you to email direct
hell why dont they just copy S1 jobs, monster etc and have it so you can upload a CV direct

I agree it's an absolute joke, the guy at the job centre was passing on all the complaints at my local job centre and he says the same thing is happening up and down this country, so hopefully it will get resolved.

  • I been looking for jobs in Inverness. I also get Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Poole, North/South/East/West London, Milton Keynes and West Yorkshire - for just now. Still waiting to see if they offer anything from Wales & Northern Ireland.
