Oh that is just the most fantastic news. Little beggar!
Spring really is in the air and I have noticed lots of unusual 'cat activity' in my neighbourhood over the last couple of weeks, with strange cats appearing from no-where, strangers knocking at the cat flap and my bunch of geriatrics venturing past the end of their own garden.
Happy HAPPY Mothers Day!0 -
thats fantastic news!
im genuinely happy for you xxxx0 -
Glad Charlie is back.
I also had a cat called Charlie who disappeared for nearly a week. He also rarely went out in the garden, normally only for very short periods. He disappeared on a bin day and came back nearly a week later so I assume he got stuck in a bin cupboard or garage. Maybe that could have happened to your Charlie too?0 -
That's great news :T
So glad he's back0 -
Mine is the same story as op, identical and his still not back! I am looking after parents house and its their cat!0

Racking our brains as to where he could have been....
He wasn't around at 11.30pm last night & he was waiting to get in at 5.30am, so he came back sometime in between.
If he had been in a shed its unlikely he would have been "freed" between those hours.
He was hungry he kept eating small amounts, he can't manage big meals in one go - but he's so fussy "if" someone did have him & they didn't feed him Royal Canin he wouldn't eat for them.
He's unhurt, he smells a tiny bit (I will put some magic coat on him later - cat talc) less tramatic than a bath!0 -

Great news that Charlie is now home.
Who knows maybe a number of cats in the area were working together to organise the disappearance. My theory is that each cat will take it in turns to 'go missing' for a few days, with the purpose being to ensure they get lots more treats etc when they get home. Whilst they are away, each of the other cats will sneak food to them to keep them going. When the 'missing' cat returns home, they know they are going to be spoilt rotten.
Those cheeky cats!0 -
Great news! Remember to update everyone you reported him missing too (Vets etc) he's probably just been for a wander! So glad he's ok0
