Yup, my 2 have them for all sorts, brushing teeth, trying new foods, tidying room etc. DS get a hot wheels car for every 5 stars (or .20p a star!)

Ames - I like your honesty :D (made me snort out loud too)

DD1 (14) has a 20/21 inch waist, very hard to get the school uniform to fit her....the skirt to fit her waist is indecently short on her as she's 5ft5.. Actually it's very hard to get anything to fit, thank god for the jeggings that are in at the moment - she can get away with those in a age 9/10 for the waist and worn with boots you can't tell how short they are!.........I used to have a body like that.

I think it's more frustration than honesty...

Can anyone actually get high street clothes to fit well? I can't. Too short skirts that look trampy and trousers are too short in the leg and waist. Tops don't have enough boob space so I end up having to buy 12/14 and then they are baggy and fit wrong. :(

  • Totally agree Gemmzie.

Even though I buy some clothes from Long Tall Sally, their fit isn't that great. I can be anything from a size 12 to an 18 depending on what I buy and then the fit still doesn't look 100% right.

We don't have Long Tall Sally here, are they any better? I hate how low waisted trousers are on me, just makes my stomach look massive as they muffin top me!

I used to be fine with Monsoon but I think this season they've changed their sizing. I've bought a couple of things lately that are too small, when older stuff that's supposed to be the same size is fine (I buy off ebay so can't take it back), but it's a bit on the short side. I'm finding Next Tall stuff fits well (ie on the big side!) and is long enough. Although I'm only 5ft8 (6ft in my fabby new shoes).
