    Morning,another lovely day.
Donnygal- wow can't believe that weather in Spain & S France, looks so weird seeing palm trees with snow on them.Safe journey back.

I had quite a good day yesterday, finished my top, just needs ironing and a few threads tidied up.Then I made a crochet hook holder, and recovered my late MILs sewing box.I bought a top in a CS last year, just cos I liked the material,(think Cath Kidston),turq & red flowers.I also had some red gingham,so one side of the crochet roll is floral, the other gingham.Same with the sewing box,the lid is the blue/turq,the base the red.Renewed all the lining inside too,and I'm thrilled to bits with it.Think I'd better get down to the nitty gritty now though, ironing etc.
Washing out again,a bit breezier than yesterday,so hopefully will dry properly.

    Have a good day everybody.x

Morning all....((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one.

WE HAVE A PHONE!!! sorry for shouting......we sat after breakfast and this strange noise, started, we looked at one another, 'what is it' said OH, the penny dropped, it was the phone ringing. BT checking.......I had another call later from the chap at Sky, he gave me the new number, discounted the broadband package and no line rental for 12 months. They have already discounted the TV by 25% so a cheapy year one way or another!!

Our landlord yesterday gave OH a bill for the oil, dated 11th Jan, I don't think so, we moved in 2nd Feb and the lease was from 1st Feb, so I think we should pay for 21 days less fuel!! Cheeky thing, I think he is trying it on, but he picked the wrong lady!!

Nice bright morning but bbbbbbbrrrrr cold, we had a heavy frost last night, I have a line of washing out. OH is in the veg patch digging, some rather large fence posts appeared this morning on the tractor.....but no sign of the fence going up.......

I have prepared the sauce for chicken in yogurt for supper, just have to put the chicekn in a heat it slowly when I get back from the quilt group. We have cous cous to go with it. Think OH will have to have a slice of lemon drizzle cake for afters, not made a dessert.

Two parcels in the post this morning, one from my friend Ana with two lots of fabric in and one from the Quilt Shoppe in the US more fabric........did I need it? no!! did I want it? yes!!! which is shy it is now on the table in the sewing room. Some of it is the green fabric I used in the cushion cover, I want to make another oner with a different plain colour, will have a look through my stash, I only need a fat quarter for that.

Off to the quilting group this afternoon........see y'all later.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Mornin all

Not been in for a while have been in Spain for a couple of weeks. The weather was not what we expected at all quite cool to say the least, not as it usually is anyway...still had a good time though and the weather was better than here.

Ate too much as usual :o so I'm trying to be good, but some of the flab should just disappear as I am eating so much less, says she hopefully.;)

If all this is due to global warming....why is it sooo cold????;)

    Brekie was crumpets
Lunch will be WW granary bread ham sandwich and fruit.
Not sorted Dinner out yet but SunnyGirl yours sound yummy
Donnygal - Just had a look at the links  we must have been very lucky, mostly cold, windy, a real downpour one day and torrential rain and horrendous wind late one night which went on for hours and just threw a few things around but not too much other damage luckily. Did have a few sunny days though  I hope the weather clears a bit for you, have a safe journey home.
BB - good news for your DD on the school :T

Off to see DGS later, have really missed him cant wait to see him and get a lovely big cuddle :)

Take care all and if you need one have one of these (((HUGS)))

Good Morning all - it is a fantastic day today!!! Mainly because I decided to give myself a kick in the bum regarding my diet - thought I'd only wear size 14 jeans. So went to thrift shop to see what I could find - three pairs of trousers, 2 skirts and 1 jumper later (oh and a new coat for DS1) I had spent £3.50 as all the items were 50p each. All except the jumper are from M&S so bargain. Have tried them all on and can JUST about get into them - so this will help keep me on the straight and narrow.

Will go through wardrobe after light lunch and jumble all the things that are too big. That will also help me keep to the diet. No giving up. Want to weigh in at XXst 10 this week - so have 2lb to lose before Thursday. Like my food too much to give it up or anything silly so will just have to walk the dogs LOTS!!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

    Morning all.

Happy Birthday to JackieO's DGD Katie

Molly and Lowesy ((((HUGS)))) for you.

Becky program an alarm into your mobile phone for when you need to take your tablets;that's what I've done, and I now always remember them.
Dinner tonight is air pie with polka dot spots :rotfl:
LOL Ours nearly was tonight, as well! Should've been veggie stew, but I need to do Shepherd Spy tomorrow (to last 2 days as Mr LW is on Late shift Friday) and I don't have enough spuds for both til we visit the F'n'V market on Saturday.
So it's been swapped with the pasta in cheese sauce originally scheduled for next Monday, so [STRIKE]The Gannet[/STRIKE] Mr LW won't starve.:D

Washing has been done, but it's threatening to rain, so it's all hanging on the A-frame over the bath.

Have a good day, all. Off to start on the kitchen now......
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Hello everyone!

Been away for over a week and only now getting back into the swing of things. Had a good time when I was away on course and it was nice staying in a lovely hotel.

Back to old clothes and porridge now though! Managed to get caught up with all the washing at the weekend and DH did the ironing yesterday. Not sure what I'm going to have for dinner as he's off out at a meeting. Might raid the freezer and see what's in that.

    Have a good day everyone
