80Mb a month is amazingly low, I hope they're not suggesting you pay for that when you're currently on "unlimited".

mg? this isn't a valid measurement of data - you might want to check with your provider to get clarification of their offer.
If you're being offered 80mb, then this really isn't very much at all, and is a huge drop from 'unlimited' which depending on your supplier is usually capped under a fair usage policy of approx 500mb per month.

Listen to what the others are saying!
    80meg allowance is rubbish!
What is the point of having a fancy phone and then not being able to use the features? You shouldn't have to pay through the nose for any of the services, there are lots of hand scenarios where have a web connected phone is handy, so you may not use it at present but tomorrow who knows, if you know you definately are not going to use the facilities, then just go for a basic boring phone that makes and recieves calls :T

You'd have to clarify it with them really, I must admit though, I have never heard of such a pathetically low allowance if it is per month.

I sent the original upgrade back a nokia 5230
    400mins
    300 tx
    unlimited landline
    unlimited internet
    all for £22.50

    didnt like the handset

So I rang today and asked for the Samsung Tocco S8300 they said I could have it but as its a nicer phone I will not get unlimited internet but they added an extra 100 mins talk time. all this still for 22.50 a month. Should I ask for unlimited internet?

I was on £30 a month contract no internet

Considering the S8300 can be purchased for just over £100, consider sim only, also what makes it a 'nicer' handset s the web facilities, on screen weather etc
£10 buys you 200 mins and 'unlimited text'
Good luck with your search :j

My phone is coming tomorrow if I ring again they may say return the phone and get cheaper phone type then I may receive unlimited internet, if this the case I dont think I will bother paying for recorded delivery again and just pay £5 a month unlimited internet when I feel like browsing more internet out and about, at home Im always on the laptop...
