There should be an option g:) I don't buy either of them or any own brands - they all taste equally disgusting!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

Me too, however I think that the ASDA Grape and Peach squash is fantastic. Also come to realise that chilled tap water is so much better than bottled water - a lot cheaper too. Saves the environment also - as their is no plastic bottles to recycle.
Did you realise too that most pop etc makes you more thirsty. I can never understand it when people "quench" their thirst with pop.Veteran Bargain Hunter -

Watch out for aspartame and other nasties in some squash though, Rocks do a good range of cordials and a little goes along way - Elderflower is very refreshing in hot weather..... http://www.rocksorganic.com/rocksfullrange.htm

I used to work for the company that sold Pepsi in the UK, the one thing everybody agreed on was that the best thing to remove permanent Marker from a white board was Pepsi! Don't drink any of them if you want to keep your teeth and any internal Grafitti - not sure about the last bit but makes interesting reading - well I thought so!0

Where's the option for "They all taste equally bad - I don't drink any of them"?0

has anyone tried Spar cola ?
i think it tastes the same as coke an as i cant tell the difference between pepsi an coke i think it tastes the same as pepsi so i think they all taste the same and one is a lot cheaper than the others !0 -
In my experience it is a lot about what you are used to. When growing up I always drank full fat milk, semi-skimmed tasted watery, skimmed even worse. A few years ago I switched to semi, now if I drink full fat it is gaggingly rich and I can't drink a glass of it.
I drink Coca-Cola original, never liked diet / pepsi / another brand. But maybe if I swtiched to something good (but different) after a while it would taste 'right' and everything else would taste 'wrong'.
Any suggestions for good alternatives?0 -
I tend to drink diet because I don't want to get fat on ordinary coke lol. This new coke zero is better than diet but still not the real thing. Best one for me though is M&S cola, better than the real thing and a tad cheaper too. This is getting addictive!

I bought a bottle of Lidls own brand diet coke at 39p for two litres and thought it was great, will definately buy it again. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
You cannot beat ice-cold coke out of a can hitting the back of your throat. You don't get the same effect with coke out of a bottle. My favourites are pepsi max, diet coke folowed by diet pepsi. The new coke zero sems to be quite good. If I cannot get any of these on offer from a supermarket I will settle for own label stuff. I also get Morrison's cola max bottles. 6 litres for 99p. I like my caffeine cold.0
