Left handed?

Mum used to tell me how they'd basically tie your left hand so you couldn't use it and had to write right handed. Fat lot of good it did her, she used to get someone to cut it off/untie it and writer with her left, and finally they gave up.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Thier parents being religious tried to train her to eat with her right hand, it ended up with her not eating at all. Family support and Social Services quickly became involved.
I'm not making this up.
Some religions see the left hand as being unclean as they use their left hand to deal with certain bodily fluids...I think Egypt they eat with their right because of this and i think a few middle east countries are the same...0 -

I'm left handed but do most things apart from writing with my right hand! My OH is right handed but eats left handed (fork in right hand!) among other things. My son is pretty much left handed!
It's a right old mix!
If he's happy using both hands for things then just let him get on with it.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

Between my parents and me and my brother 3 out of the 4 of us are left handed. Still ended up doing most things the right handed way - I even iron right handed LOL!
I can actually write with both hands but better with my left. Would be better with my right if I actually practised more

Both myself and OH are left handed...DD is 2 an has shown preference for her right when drawing but left when eating.
DS is only 9 months but he seems to be already favouring his left hand.
Try handing your son a pen/pencil and see which hand he puts out to grab hold of it, it might be an indicator of which hand he would prefer to use? (I do that with my DD and she always puts out her right hand for the pencil but left hand for her fork!)Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
