Morning everyone, well I have had an exciting weekend. Went to our reception venue yesterday and have gone through everything with them with a general meal plan, itinery of the day, what to expect on the day and what they will do for us so everything is slowly comign together now my shoes also arrived this mornign. Some of u will b aware of my shoes problems, after ordering a pair from e-bay and they were poorly made. Some of u lovely ladies even helped me in my search for some suitable blue shoes. Well after all that I have the original non blue pair I was looking at!! They aren'y typical wedding shoes as they r leather but they r beautiful and well made.

this is them, obviously in cream. I figure no-one is going to care about the material of my shoes, and my dress isn't satin either so it shouldn't look too wierd.
We have also moved the time of the wedding forward to 1pm so I need to contact the vicar again and let him know of the change of time. Also goign to send our booking form and deposit for our car today. Just a quick question, we have a white 1976 rolls royce silver shadow as our car and our price is £185. Is that a good price?? Its the lowest quote I found but I don't knwo if I've just been looking with the wrong people?

So main things left to sort that I can think of are men's suits and entertainment. I saw a lovely waistcoat in debenhams on thursday and they do a cheap package for £33 as H2B wants a short jacket so just have to drag him shopping now!!

Sorry I have rambled along, I'm just v.excited today that its coming together

How exciting that things are starting to come together! We really need to pull our fingers out now, we haven't got the food properly sorted yet (we're having pie & mash and a friend is making the pies, but we don't have a caterer to cook them or do the other stuff yet!) and we need to decide about our entertainment. We went to see a band a few weeks ago, but we didn't like ALL their music, so we need to see if they can do more of the stuff we like...
BUT the lady who made my wedding dress told me to call her in November to arrange fittings & adjustments etc, so I'll be phoning her at lunchtime to get that sorted!!:j

Thanks for the reminder on the handcream Magicboo!! I had forgot!

We had an exciting weekend too. We went and chose/designed our wedding rings and put deposit down

Then we went to book and decide on OH suit and the rest of the bridal party and paid deposit.

Also paid the deposit for church as I had to qualify to marry there so after 6 months attending church we can finally officially book it!
