30th April for us too - and some of you lot are stressing me out with how organised you all are!
Have our venue booked, and deposit paid - getting married and having reception in same place. Now need to get registrar or humanist minister sorted.
I have also decided on flowers and dress, just need to actually get them booked.

Sounds just like me!! we are also getting married and having reception in the same venue which is booked and deposit paid. i have also decided on flowers (tee-roses and lilly of the valley) got my wedding dress,string quartet and photographer hahaha i love being organised.....NO STRESS!!!! hahaha xx :rotfl:

Hey Mrs Moore to be - Congratulations.

My wife and i got married last August, 6 years to the day that we met up :-)

As with all things, mention the word 'wedding' and it seems to give people license to charge huge amounts of money for about anything and everything you need. Do a little research and you can save :-)

If you're getting married in church and don't have a strict colour or style of flowers in mind, ask about making a donation to the church for flowers. They maybe left over from other services or flowers donated by congregation members etc but they will still look nice and work out far cheaper than ordering flowers from a florist. Important things like button holes etc will still need to be done but it should help to keep the cost down :-)

Thanks Mrgig, thats a great idea. I have a color scheme for the reception but dont mind what flowers there are in the church.

Ill bear that in mind and mention it to the vicar next weekend :-)
