Jemma - you look lovely, and ridiculously happy!

I just wanted to give a quick update on my dress. I'm having mine made for me and seem to have chosen a tricky design (nothing in my wedding has turned out to be straightforward!) At my last fitting last Wednesday my dressmaker took the decision that the corset part of my dress was not working and that we needed to start over.

Obviously that was a pretty scary thought as it didn't give us long to get it started from scratch. However, I'm happy to report back that I had another fitting yesterday and the corset fit perfectly and the shape of the dress is stunning! Just needs all the finishing touched and sequins to be hand sewn on.... I honestly think I might be picking my finished dress up on the day and no earlier!

insomniac - I have just over two weeks to go and still havent sorted the length of my dress and what petticoat I should be wearing! Am confident it will all be fine (keeping my fingers crossed for you!).

I don't know what I'm going to do when April's finished - I'm going to have to start looking round for another thread to lurk on Or I suppose I could just get on with actually planning my own wedding

ah its so exciting to start seeing some April brides pictures!! you all look beautiful, many congratulations!!

had a panic last night as tried my dress on again (was testing out my shoes) and sadly i am not very blessed in the boob department and realised that if i lean over then people would get an eyeful! luckily going to dressmaker on monday for my bridesmaids so hoping she can sort something out

also need to practise taking small steps - i am obviously a bit of a strider and kept walking on my dress! my big nerves is about falling over down the aisle so think i need to practise a lot!

me too! I can hear the dress lady's voice in my ear "Walk IN the hoop! Walk IN the hoop!" I think she's worried about my falling over too. lol

Everytime i see a April brides pics i get more excited myself.

I booked the flowers tonight ooops left it abit late but met with florist who has some fab ideas. We are going for Arum lillies. Thanks to whoever it was reccomended the florist on the oxfordshire thread i think it was a few months back.

Final fitting for dress tomorrow so hopefully will be bringing it home tomorrow.

I had another hair trial on Thursday it looks so much better than the first one
